A strategic and exclusive Australasian partnership with Belgium’s Bru Textiles provides additional technical expertise, innovative fabric qualities and unsurpassed quality standards to Zepel’s offering.

Harnessing the logistics and distribution power of parent company the James Dunlop Group, we ensure rapid delivery from 2 million metres of stocked designs, and an ability to restock with Bru Textiles within 10 days.

STAIN RESISTANT

Developed in European laboratories, FibreGuard provides strong resistance for a wide variety of stains. The FibreGuard process coats the yarn in the finishing process resulting in an inherent strength and longevity that will last for the life of the fabric.

FibreGuard features a wide variety of fabric types, styles, and designs seamlessly combining technology and style.

Resisting stains and being easy to clean makes FibreGuard stand out from other stain repellent applications. Stains are easily removed using a microfibre cloth, water and sometimes soap, enabling cleaning without specialised solutions or chemical cleaners.

The simple cleaning process and excellent results on any coloured fabric make FibreGuard unique, and the perfect solution for any educational setting.

The anti-microbial solution applied during fabric production and finishing gives FibreGuard Pro extra security from mildew and bad odours caused by accidental spills. Liquids and bacteria are unable to attach themselves to the yarn or the upholstery foam making FibreGuard Pro the perfect choice for learning environments at all ages.

Many moisture barrier fabrics can be rigid and rough, however FibreGuard Pro ensures the anti-moisture membrane is both flexible and breathable , making the fabrics soft to the touch.

Hardworking in every sense, FibreGuard Pro fabrics are not only moisture-resistant, they stay strong and odour-free for longer. Fully washable, the unique properties are maintained throughout the washing process and life of the product.

FIRE RETARDANT

FR-One is the industry-leader in Inherently FireRetardant (IFR) furnishing fabrics for commercial use. IFR fabrics have fire retardancy embedded in the molecular structure of the fibre and will therefore never diminish.

All FR-One fabrics are continuously and rigorously tested in independent, certified laboratories and testing houses.

FR-One fabrics are also high performance, and tested for durability, colour fastness, stability and strength . All FR-One fabrics are fully washable and have strong sound absorption properties, while retaining a beautifully natural look and feel.

FR-One fabrics can be used for both curtains and soft furnishings, and their self-extinguishing properties are sure to offer peace of mind.

All fabrics at Zepel adhere to tough testing procedures to determine how durable and resistant fabrics are to abrasion/rubbing.

We externally test all Zepel fabrics in highly reputable laboratories, known for being amongst the most conservative and stringent in the world, and who take into account the extremely harsh environmental conditions we face here in Australia and New Zealand.

We provide results for both Martindale Cycles (British standard, recognised in Europe, Australia, and New Zealand) and Wyzenbeek Double Rubs (North American standard). Essentially, the higher the result number, the better the resistance to surface abrasion .
