Our story since 1907 James Dunlop Textiles is a global textile wholesaler bringing you the very best in textile design, technology, quality and service.

As an international converter and wholesaler of premium furnishing fabrics, we are recognised globally as one of the preeminent brands in the Southern Hemisphere. Sourced from specialist textile mills from around the world, our products include high quality upholstery, drapery and wallcoverings suitable for residential and commercial applications.

he organisation was founded in 1907 in the then bustling port of Dunedin, New Zealand, as a supplier of European fabric to retailers. From a dynasty of Freemen and textile merchants based in the Scottish countryside close to the border of Northern England, a commitment to quality design and performance ensured longevity for company and product alike. Over a century later, the fourth generation Dunlop family governs this innovative design-based organisation across the Asia- Pacific region. With a strong focus on sustainable textile excellence, coupled with world class logistics and service, the company enjoys industry accolades and support from a wide base of global retail and interior design customers. Innovation in production, performance, quality and sustainable environmental standards ensures every area of our business is focused daily on delivering the very best we can, across all markets.
