The spirit of the Mark Alexander studio tends towards a modern aesthetic. Alongside, is a clear emphasis on provenance, creating textiles that have been crafted, not just manufactured, that possess an intrinsic beauty fitting perfectly within the interior, whether classic or modern, that appears to have evolved artfully over time.
Another part of our aesthetic is to create textiles that convey a sense of the well-travelled, the collected. We take design cues from many cultural and historical references, respecting the inspirational source, perhaps through the inherent beauty of a natural material or a timeless technique, combining that sense of something authentic with designs that are entirely original.
This collection draws together these aspects of Mark Alexander in an eclectic range of prints, embroideries, jacquards and textures. Ageless textiles for curated interiors.

The Veranda range of outdoor textiles combines the highest levels of performance with the visual style and tactile quality of Mark Alexander’s interior fabrics.
All of these fabrics are fade-resistant to strong sunlight, they are mould, salt and stain resistant, they are also treated with a water-repellent finish and are easy to maintain.
Created using an innovative fibre, Veranda also offers a softness and aesthetic appeal that is usually only found in natural fibre textiles.
So whether using a plain, stripe or jacquard on furniture, a texture such as bouclé or chenille for pillows and throws, or a wide-width sheer at a sun-drenched window, the Veranda range is perfect for any setting, outside and inside*.
TECHNICAL INFORMATION
• Solution dyed acrylic
• Mould, stain and salt resistant
• Fade-resistant to strong sunlight
• Colour fastness to weathering: 7 to 8 out of 8 on the blue scale after 1500 hours of exposure in accordance with EN ISO 105 B04
• Easily maintained
• Washable at 30 degrees
• Bleach-cleanable
• Veranda upholstery fabrics are treated with a Teflon® stain-repellant finish
• Veranda sheer fabrics are wide-width
• Suitable for indoor/outdoor use*
PRODUCT CARE
• Gently vacuum dirt in the direction of the nap before it becomes embedded
• Wipe, blot and spot clean spills as soon as they occur
• When spot cleaning, always test a small, inconspicuous part
• Wash at 30 degrees on a gentle cycle
• Do not tumble dry
• Do not dry clean Veranda Sheers
• Use a cool, dry iron
• Bleach when needed, rinse thoroughly afterwards
• Acrylic does not support mildew growth; however, mildew may grow on dirt and residue that has not been removed from the fabric
