For the winter season, James Clay and Sons are bringing you a great selection of gift packs, seasonal beers, cask and more.
Our line-up this year includes the classic Belgian strong ales plus Abbey, Trappist and fruit beers, along with a great range winter seasonal beers from Germany.
We’ve also added new festive beers from Europe and the UK, as well as bolstering our cocktail and spirits offering.

MERRY & BRIGHT
We have searched tirelessly a for new offerings to our festive range and have come up with some fantastic options.
NEW
From Belgium we’ve got new editions of a couple of classics reimagined. This year Duvel have aged some of their iconic Golden Strong ale in Kentucky Bourbon casks, lifting it a few points in ABV and rounding it off with some luscious Vanilla notes from the Bourbon. Similarly, Chimay have fermented a batch of the Blue in ex-Brandy casks amping up the Christmassy dried fruit notes in the famous Quadrupel.
Just outside of Brussels, we’ve got a new edition of Boon’s Millésime, an Oude Kriek made with the famed Schaerbeekse cherries. These local cherries are well known for their exquisitely rich sourness, more than that, they’re also now known for making the ‘World’s best Sour Beer’ at this year’s World Beer Awards.
As always, we’ve a constantly evolving German range, and have added five new seasonal Bavarian beers.
For the true German beer aficionado there’s a mixed case of 8 unique beers from Bavaria, just add your pyjamas and toothbrush to complete your Christmas trip packing.
Denmark’s To Øl have three new Christmas beers for us this year, with a Hazy IPA, a big BA Quad, and a luxurious Cognac BA Imperial Milk Stout.
This year’s festive cask range includes the latest Fairytale of Brew York, plus the new Cherry Porter Grand Reserve from Titanic, and a couple new options from Vocation, plus many more from around the UK.
If you’re looking for a festive draught lineup, we’ve almost got a full advent calendar for you, with 22 different kegs available, including Nogne Merry Jingle for the first time.

DELIRIUM GIFT PACKS
Delirium Tremens is a strong, golden and complex pale ale. Delirium Noël is a deep ruby red ale, with aromas of dried fruits, caramel and spices – a lovely Christmas drink. Delirium Red is a wonderfully fruity beer, deep dark red with a few aroma hints of almond and a taste which is a balance between sweet and sour. Delirium Nocturnum is a strong, dark Belgian ale with a soft mouthfeel followed by pleasant bitterness from hop and roasted and chocolate malt. Delirium Argentum is a full-bodied complex amber ale with a touch of caramel and spicy, citrus-like bitterness.

BARREL AGED IRISH WHISKEY
This Duvel Barrel Aged has matured intensively in the very best whiskey barrels of the Irish distillery Teeling. These barrels enrich the exclusive beer with notes of vanilla and oak, with a smoky hint of peat fire.
BARREL AGED BRAZILIAN RHUM
This Duvel Barrel Aged has matured intensively on a fine selection of Cachaça barrels. Cachaça is a famous, spicy Brazilian Rum and is distilled from freshly squeezed sugarcane juice. Thanks to this maturation, the beer is enriched with lively tropical fruit notes.

Four wonderful Belgian beers from the independent Brasserie St Feuillien, the family-owned brewery founded in 1873. St Feuillien Blonde has a deep golden colour with a smooth, frothy head, perfumed with an unmistakable hint of fruity aromatic hops. Brune has a marked ruby brown colour and is decidedly malty with a distinctive liquoricecaramel flavour. True to the style, St Feuillien Tripel is a pale amber beer with a distinctive maltiness and rich aroma of aromatic hops, spices and the typical bouquet of fermentation.

ST FEUILLIEN SINGLE MALT
A limited-edition single malt from the independent family-run Brasserie St-Feuillien in Le Roeulx, Belgium. Triple distillation is followed by aging in first fill bourbon ks.
SCHLENKERLA SMOKED MALT AGED SPIRIT
Distilled from the classic Schlenkerla Rauchbier, matured in Michel Couvreur casks with smoked barley malt for a bold, rich and full-flavored spirit with notes of smoke, hops, barley and spice complemented by a light, malty sweetness.
GOUDEN CAROLUS SINGLE MALT
A refined Belgian whisky distilled from the mash of Het Anker’s Gouden Carolus Tripel beer. Aged in ‘first fill’ bourbon casks followed by a further aging in Anker’s oak casks results in a refined and rich whisky with subtle fruit aromas and delightful hints of wood and vanilla.
STONE ARROGANT BASTARD WHISKEY
This brazenly bold whiskey was aged 4+ years in new charred oak barrels. With a mash bill of 100% malted barley, it is born of the essence of Arrogant Bastard Ale.
A collaboration between California’s Stone Brewing and Iowa’s Foundry Distilling Co, this extremely limited offering is the ultimate embodiment of arrogance.

POPPIES GIN
This Jenever gin by Rubbens Distillery has a recipe which originates from an English soldier during the First World War.
Aromatic, and full of flavoursome herbs, this gin comes in a beautifuly printed stone jar.
A luscious Belgian cream liqueur prepared with Gouden Carolus Single Malt whisky. Creamy and velvety, with the hints of vanilla and oak delightfully enhanced by the full cream.
