For the winter season, James Clay and Sons are bringing you a great selection of gift packs, seasonal beers, cask and more.
Our line-up this year includes the classic Belgian strong ales plus Abbey, Trappist and fruit beers, along with a range winter seasonal beers from Germany.
We’ve added new festive beers from Europe and the UK, whilst also bolstering our cocktail and spirits offering.

MERRY & BRIGHT
We have searched tirelessly for new offerings to our festive range and have come up with some fantastic options.
From Belgium we’ve got new releases from two stalwarts of the brewing industry. This year’s barrel aged release from Duvel sees their iconic Golden Strong ale matured in Mexican Agave spirit barrels, elevating the ABV to 12.0% and adding aromas of toffee, vanilla, and red fruits with a long and fruity finish. Following a successful launch in kegs, Chimay 175 is now available in bottles. The Trappist blond ale was brewed in celebration of the Abbey’s 175th anniversary.
As always, we have a constantly evolving German range and have added four new seasonal Bavarian beers to partner returning favourites from Ayinger, Flensburger and Hofbrau. There’s also a new 4-pack from Kaiserdom showcasing their alcoholic range in 25cl cans.
Polish creatives, Funky Fluid, have added some Christmas spice to their adjunct laden sour beers with two festive specials in Mulled Gelato and Yule Cherry.
Pop your slippers on and cosy up by the fire with Black Isle’s annual Christmas strong Scotch Ale, Colonel Custard. Aged in bourbon barrels providing a deep rich vanilla aroma with a silky-smooth finish, It’s the perfect complement to a Christmas Pudding.
This year’s festive cask range includes the latest Fairytale of Brew York which reimagines the Walnut Whip in stout form, plus new options from Abbeydale and Castle Rock along with seasonal delights from Anspach & Hobday and Northern Monk.
If you’re looking for a festive draught lineup, we’ve got a full advent calendar for you, including Verdant’s first ever Christmas beer. Of course it’s an IPA!

DELIRIUM GIFT PACKS
Delirium Tremens is a strong, golden and complex pale ale. Delirium Noël is a deep ruby red ale, with aromas of dried fruits, caramel and spices – a lovely Christmas drink. Delirium Red is a wonderfully fruity beer, deep dark red with a few aroma hints of almond and a taste which is a balance between sweet and sour. Delirium Nocturnum is a strong, dark Belgian ale with a soft mouthfeel followed by pleasant bitterness from hop and roasted and chocolate malt. WESTMALLE GIFT PACK
The Trappist Abbey of Westmalle have been brewing their beers for 185 years. Tripel is a clear, golden yellow beer with a fruity aroma and hop scent. This rice grain whiskey is made from mash brewed with 30% sake rice and distilled in a pot still, blended with flavourful malt whiskey. It has been aged for over three years in bourbon and sherry casks.

HINOMARU WHISKY SIGNATURE 1823
With 200 years of sake brewing under their belt, Kiuchi Brewery’s goal is to take their sake from local to global.
Using barley malt grown in Hitachino, this malt spirit is 100% distilled at Kiuchi Brewery’s Yasato Distillery, and then aged in bourbon, rum, and sherry barrels before being blended.
A Japanese malt whiskey inspired by the cherry blossom, a symbol of Japan. It is a blend of malt spirits aged in bourbon barrels, cherry brandy barrels, sherry barrels, and wine barrels.

ST FEUILLIEN SINGLE MALT
A limited-edition single malt from the independent family-run Brasserie St-Feuillien in Le Roeulx, Belgium. Triple distillation is followed by aging in first fill bourbon casks.
SCHLENKERLA SMOKED MALT AGED SPIRIT
Distilled from the classic Schlenkerla Rauchbier, matured in Michel Couvreur casks with smoked barley malt for a bold, rich and full-flavored spirit with notes of smoke, hops, barley and spice complemented by a light, malty sweetness.
GOUDEN CAROLUS SINGLE MALT
A refined Belgian whisky distilled from the mash of Het Anker’s Gouden Carolus Tripel beer. Aged in ‘first fill’ bourbon casks followed by a further aging in Anker’s oak casks results in a refined and rich whisky with subtle fruit aromas and delightful hints of wood and vanilla.
STONE ARROGANT BASTARD WHISKEY
This brazenly bold whiskey was aged 4+ years in new charred oak barrels. With a mash bill of 100% malted barley, it is born of the essence of Arrogant Bastard Ale. A collaboration between California’s Stone Brewing and Iowa’s Foundry Distilling Co, this extremely limited offering is the ultimate embodiment of arrogance.
LINDEMANS PREMIUM DISTILLED GIN
Lindemans and De Moor, both high-quality Belgian brands that share the same values, join hands to create this gin. Citrus notes that are first savoured while tasting this gin add a refreshing touch. The gin is dry and the first gently softened by the warm taste of cardamom seeds and the refined taste of cherries.
