The Year is 2032.
To combat the decline of steel production and employment in the Don Valley, emergent technologies such as 3D printing steel are being utilised to reinvigorate the area. This has led to the creation of The Darnall Printworks to provide a home and test bed for these technologies.
Located on the former Darnall Works site, the Printworks utilises parts of the original 1870 crucible works and 1960’s works, along with new interventions to create an involved learning experience.
