Yuriy Shahmuradov is a prominent and outstanding wrestler and coach.

He is well known to the fans and amateur competitors of free style wrestling all over the world. For many years he has demonstrated a mastery of the most technical and tactical aspects of the sport of wrestling in the World and European championships and in Olympic Games. He is correctly nicknamed the "master" of free style wrestling.

Yu. Shahmuradov is an expert in free style wrestling. In the former USSR he has been the head of the National Wrestling Teams and it was under his leadership that his athletes scored outstanding results by winning 12 gold medals at the Montreal (1976) and Moscow (1980) Olympic Games and 39 gold medals at world championships.

Yu. Shahmuradov is very active in promoting and developing free style wrestling programmes throughout the world. For twenty years he has been sharing his rich sports experiences with specialists, coaches and wrestlers from numerous countries. Moreover, as an outstanding expert in free style wrestling Yu. Shahmuradov is a regular lecturer at FILA theoretical and practical seminars and clinics.

Yu. Shahmuradov has been awarded "The FILA Gold Medal" in recognition for his many years of outstanding work in promoting free style wrestling on the global level and as a tribute for his enourmous effort to make it successful.

As a wrestler, coach and scientist, Yu. Shahmuradov has primarily focused his attention on the analysis of free style wrestling and methods for its promotion.

Many outstanding wrestler of the world such as: A. Medvedev, I. Yarigin, S. Beloglazov, A. Fadzaev, J. Smith, V. Baumgardner, Yu. Takada, V. Yordanov, A. Aik, A. Movahed and others who have greatly benefited from his practical experience by implementing his teachings in this field.

Y. Chakhmouradov est le plus grand spécialiste en matière de lutte libre. Chakhmouradov n'a cessé de déployer ses efforts en vue du développement de la lutte libre à l'échelle mondiale: c'est depuis vingt ans qu'il transmet ses riches connaissances et expériences aux spécialistes, entraîneurs et athlètes de divers pays. C'est aussi en sa qualité du plus grand spécialiste en la matière qu'il dirige des cours théoriques et pratiques de lutte libre dans le cadre des stages intemationatinaux organisés par la FILA. T E C H N I C A L A N D TACTICAL PREPARATION OF THE W R E S T L E R The Main Features of Technical Training Technical preparation is basic for mastery in wrestling. Actually, mastery of a wide range of technical actions is a prerequisite for successful performance in wrestling. Most experts in free style wrestling give priority to technical and tactical preparation, believing that physical, psychological and other forms of preparation are of secondary importance. Wrestling technique implies action in movement conducted within the Rules of Wrestling and used upon an opponent in order to score victory based on the performed holds. Individual technical elements are only a part of the total technical actions which depend on whether they are performed in the standing position or on the ground.

Generally speaking, the methods of developing movement skills under standard conditions are well-known because it is in standard conditions that this kind of research in the theory and psychology of sports is usually conducted. It is also well-known that skills become second nature after numerous repetitions of given actions. It is, therefore, the primary task of the coach, or lecturer, to focus his attention on the utmost mental involvement of the wrestler in the repetition process within his training exercises. Actually, this approach implies the successful implementation of one of the basic principles of physical education and sports, namely: active and conscious participation of the trainee in his training process.

Conscious participation in the training process also implies the readiness and willingness of the wrestler to perform exactly the technical actions as suggested by the coach and his own eagerness to excel in performing them.

The acquired technique is meant to be executed in competition with one's opponent. This interaction, actually, reflects the features and quality of the wrestler's technical preparation which is evaluated on the basic of the pattern of acquired technical skills performed in non-standard and varying conditions, thanks to acquired technical knowledge, adopted technical skills and acquired strategy.

An overall concept of a given technical skill in wrestling constitutes the first and foremost stage in acquiring technical skills. It is also very important for the wrestler, not only to vizualize the structure of a conceived skill with regard to space, the pace of performance and other relevant parameters, but also to receive the basic information about the essential aspects of a given skill and how useful it may prove to be at future competitions. Actually, this aproach mentally involves the wrestler in the training process and develops his conscious and active attitude towards a given skill and its performance. It should be constantly emphasized that numerous repetitions of a given technical skill improves its quality, enhances its complexity resulting in the most automatic performance of that skill enabling the wrestler to concentrate on the relevance of the skill. Moreover, automatic performance of technical actions provides for the development of its variations which is one of the main pedagogical tasks within the technical preparation of the wrestler.

Basic Technical and Tactical Preparation Increasing compexity of technical holds is the most striking current trend in wrestling, due to new, attractive technical holds performed by outstanding wre9

stlers and increasingly complex offensive combinations. An analysis of competitions in free style wrestling has revealed that opponents at competitions are often taken by surprise and unable to counteract the new, attractive technical and tactical holds performed by outstanding wrestlers. This proves that coaches and wrestlers are constantly looking for new forms and variations of wrestling tactics.

Equiped with such skills the wrestler remain a riddle for his opponents who have difficulties in coping with his way of wrestling. The cases in point are the masters of the mat A. Medved, S. Beloglazov, M. Hadartzev, J. Smith, B. Baumgardner, V. Yordanov and many others.

For many years these wrestlers have been dispalying outstanding mastery at the most important international events such as: the European and World championships and the Olympic Games. Also, their noteworthy wrestling technique and tactics were developed to the point of automatic performance. These were, actually, the qualities underlying their outstanding performance and mastery in wrestling.

On the other hand, the estension and increasing complexity of technical knowledge in wrestling confront the coaches and specialists with a new challenge in their desire to establish the most appropriate organizational pattern of technical and tactical preparation for the wrestlers and determine the most suitable way of conducting that process. Actually, the problem can be reduced to the following two crucial issues: 1. How to establish an appropriate training pattern of technical skills and the right sequence of their performance; 2. How to implement the acquired skills and to keep them under control.

It goes without saying that the promotion of technical and tactical mastery depends on a number of interrelated elements and that each of these elements should be developed to the point of automatic performance. The greater the number of such elements mastered by the wrestler, the greater his possibility for success. It should, however, be emphasized that the relationship between these elements must be constant, flexible and reliable. Only in that case will the wrestler be able to, without difficulty, switch from one variation another, by timely reacting to the actions and holds undertaken by his opponent. Unfortunately, sufficient attention is not devoted to this relationship. The main emphasis seems to be placed on how to teach the trainee to carry out these technical elements when performing holds, adopting a protective position or initiating counter-attacks.

Apparently, the wrestlers are not encouraged to use their brains and combine the elements from their individual technical and tactical experiences in performing complex actions. It should, however, be emphasized, that the correct selection of technical and tactical elements is possible only if based on a model for individual preparation for competitions, developed for each wrestler involved in the training program.

ARGUMENTS IN FAVOUR OF A MODERN SCHOOL OF PREPARATION IN WRESTLING The technique and tactics of free style wrestling, rich and diversified as it is, continues to progress. This development of wrestling technique and tactics is, on the one hand, a response to a keen competitive spirit on the international wre10

stling mat, and, on the other hand the results of the amended Rules of Wrestling.

Outstanding experts in wrestling rightly maintain that wrestling technique, combined with tactics, constitute the very foundation of mastery in wrestling. They also emphasize that other forms of preparation are only supportive, or subsidiary with regard to the former two. This means that the theory and practive of free style wrestling should, concentrate on the development and promotion of the technical and tactical preparation of the wrestlers.

In order to establish the main prerequisites for the development and promotion of this preparation process let us, first, analyize the present basic shortcomings of the process.

In our view one of its major shortcomings is the absence of wrestling with an opponent, because during training the wrestlers are only taught how to perform holds. Evidently, appropriate preparation (both in strategy and tactics) enables the wrestlers to learn how to effectively perform given holds, but this skill makes sense only with an opponent. An analysis of competitions in free style wrestling reveals that about 7-8% of total time available is spent on the performance of holds, and the rest is devoted to the preparation of the holds, initiation, manoeuvering, individual action, and faking actions to prevent an opponent from anticipating the nature of the action, or hold. Tactical preparation is crucial in this regard.

Unfortunately pedagogical research has revealed that practical preparation does not devote enough attention to this aspect. As already emphasized, efficient and relevant performance of a hold directly depends on the wrestler's tactical actions. Technical preparation is also crucial. The better his technical preparation the greater the wrestler's ability to successfully cope with complex technical challenges which occur during the contest with his opponent, defeat his opponent's offensive actions and efficiently carry out his own actions and tactics.

Inappropriate organization is another essential shortcoming of the technical training process in wrestling, because it disregards the most important pedagogical principle: "from known to unknown" and "from simple to more complex". It appears that the major problem stems from the following approach: Elementary technical preparation is developed in order to simultaneously teach the wrestler how to carry out holds, take defensive positions and perform counterattacks. After having learned to perform a given hold the wrestler also learns the defensive position with regard to that specific hold and the counter-attack. Many outstanding specialists in free style wrestling have, however, noticed, that this approach (hold, defense position, counter-attack) prevent the development of firm and durable movement skills in wrestlers.

In order to fully and clearly understand the implications of the above statement just imagine the following picture: We are building a house together with our trainees (practice of offensive actions) and before completing the project we start destroying its foundation (training to defeat offensive actions). This is the reason why many wrestlers lack good knowledge in wrestling, namely, in competition they are simply not able to perform a hold in a "classical" manner.

Absence of basic principles is the second essential shortcoming of the elementary technical and tactical preparation process. Research data indicates that most coaches rely on personal experience and thus arbitrarily decide on the content of the learning and training process. Due to the lack of system in the approach to this process the technical background of the wrestlers has become lean, particu11

larly when it comes to leg locks, in competition these holds are rarely practiced.

Within the training process some coaches tend to imitate the holds of outstanding wrestlers, completely disregarding the abilities of their trainees. Others endeavor to the teach their trainees the holds and actions for all classification groups, thus disregarding relevance and usefulness of such efforts. The third group of coaches places the main emphasis on holds easier for the trainees to learn.

Evidently, training based on the above principles is meant to provide for a positive transference of movement within the practice of technical and tactical actions.

According to this principle new technical and tactical practices are always based on the already acquired knowledge.

This means that every new stage is a follow up of the previous one. At the same time it helps perfect the already acquired skills.

INDIVIDUAL PREPARATION IN WRESTLING The technical and tactical preparation has, at least, two objectives: first, to maintain all acquired basic and "favorite" holds and, second, to provide the best possible training adapted to the individual propensities of the wrestler involved.

Development of the "Most Favorite" Hold Basic preparation comes first. Its objective is to teach the wrestler how to perform holds up to a given level of mastery. It is at this level that each wrestler develops his favorite holds. In practice this is a step-by step process. Each step has its specific objective and reflects a given level of technical preparation. The first level of preparation, is devoted to the practice of basic technical and tactical actions; the second, level of technical and tactical practice, focuses on the ability to perform appropriate movements. During this level the wrestler is expected to: 1. master the details of technical and tactical preparation; 2. correctly perform in practice all previously acquired details of technical and tactical actions. It is during the third level that all of the above mentioned acquired skills should be executed under varying conditions.

Each of the above three levels are formulated so as to enable the wrestler to accomplish a given objective and fulfil a given secondary task. This concept makes it much easier for the coach to monitor the duration and quality of the training process, because the work within the following stage always depends on the abilities developed during the preceding one. Actually, the practice of the most frequent holds carried out at a competition depends on the wrestler's level of technical and tactical knowledge based on many repetitions under varying conditions, adapted to his individual qualities and abilities.

It is during this process that each wrestler develops a given hold to the point of automatic performance, which the specialists call a "favorite hold".

There are several interpretations of the meaning of "favorire hold", but all specialist agree on its paramount importance for the wrestler. According to A. Novikov the "favorite hold" is a technical action which the wrestler most frequently performs, according to S. Preobrazensky the favorite hols is the wrestler's trump card.

According to I. Alphanov technical mastery implies the wrestler's ability to perform a wide range of actions during the preliminary stage. The same author also gives the definition of the wrestler's favorite hold: "it is the hold the wrestler fully masters and is capable of performing it under all circumstances".

Sports mastery calls for continuous work on the improvement of technical and tactical training, particularly in view of increasingly keen competition in international competitions.

Beside the emphasis placed on the importance of continuous work improving basic favorite holds the following aspects should also be kept in mind: 1. The opponents are also prepared for counter-attack; 2. The opponents are aware of the wrestler's favourite holds, which means that the effect of surprise in soon lost; 3. The wrestler himself also changes in some respect (his strength, or endurance change). Moreover, some of his abilities may deteriorate (speed, mobility, flexibility); 4. Opponents differ and may be stronger, quicker, smarter, taller or shorter, etc.

Some wrestlers wrongly believe that improvement in sports implies the elimination of all their individual defficiencies. They practice new holds which, in their view, are more efficient and successful on the mat, as a rule, neglect their basic favorite hold.

According to one of the fundamental principles of sports training for mastery all aspects of technical and tactical skills should be simultane ously developed, with special emphasis on individual qualities of the wrestlers involved. Naturally, each wrestler most frequently performs his favorite hold, almost automatically and by intuition.

The development of favorite hold to the point of mastery depends on: 1. Its rating as a wrestling hold, how popular it is with outstanding wrestlers, who are the masters of its performance, etc.

2. Individual capability of the wrestler to perform a given hold (in view of his physical strength, inertia, the way he reacts in contests with the opponent, his weight, size, endurance).

3. The conditions in which the attack is initiated, which are actually crucial for an efficient performance of a given hold.

4. The pace of the performance, namely the combination of different structural elements of a given hold performed within a given time framework.

5. Variations of technical actions due to changing conditions in which a given hold is performed.

6. Variations of the hold conducive to ultimate performance of a favorite hold in varying circumstances.

7. Constant work on the improvement of the structure of a favorite hold.

8. The amount of attention devoted to crucial details in view of the fact that given peculiarities often provide for an efficient performance of a given hold.

9. Full awarness of specific factors considerably affecting successful performance of a favorite hold.

In short, it is the performance of favorite holds that determine one's individual wrestling style. Moreover, it is mostly the performance of favorite holds and combinations of these holds that the wrestler promotes his technical and tactical preparation.

Technical and tactical mastery in wrestling actually depends on the nature and 13

number of favorite holds performed in an outstanding and impecable manner.

Each year the FILA awards a GOLD MEDAL to the best wrestler of the world.

So far this distinguished recognition has been bestowed upon Olympic champions: S. Beloglazov, A. Fadzaev and J. Smith.

Specialists in free style wrestling consider that mastery in this sport implies the ability to improvize on the mat, to smartly create situations confusing an opponent and to use wide tactical knowledge in anticipating the opponent's offensive actions, two-three moves in advance. Abundant implementation of various tactical links, variations and complex actions in free style wrestling makes it modern and brings it in line with the new requirements of combat sports.

Favorite holds constitute the very foundation of mastery in wrestling and determine the individuals wrestling style. It should be noted that the main objective of technical and tactical preparation in wrestling is mastery of tactical skills, and not mastery of a great number of technical holds. Therefore, the main emphasis should be placed on mastery of favorite holds.

LOSS OF FAVORITE HOLDS Research has revealed that in practice offensive wrestlers often miss their favorite hold, without substituting it by another, which, as a rule, negatively affects their sports rating. Therefore, one of the objectives of training should be to monitor the efficiency of favorite holds. The efficiency of favorite holds performed by top wrestlers is 80-100%. On the other hand, statistical data reveal the lowering of efficiency of favorite holds. This phenomenon calls for detailed research into the causes of this undesirable development which should be identified and emilinated and enable the wrestler to regain the efficiency of his offensive actions.

As a rule, de-automation, the lost ability to automatically perform offensive actions, occurs when the first and second stages of an action are ineffective.

Decreased efficiency of given actions aimed at creating favorable conditions for further action disrupts the pace of the performance pattern of both wrestlers and results in the disintegration of the system.

In the case of decreased efficiency due to shorter duration of the preliminary level, meaning that there is not enough time to perform the actions and variations leading to a given offensive action and when this problem cannot be solved in individual training or in contest with the opponent of different psycological and physical qualities, the pattern of the first level should be diversified and the second level should be devoted to the mastery of the acquired skills. This is the only way to prevent the de-automation process of the acquired skills.

The objectives set are fulfilled through individual programs of sports mastery for each group, or team.

The training process for the wrestler who has, e. g. lost the ability to automatically perform the hip throw should, conditionally speaking, be divided into two stages: the first stage should concentrate on stabilizing the ability to prepare situation conducive to given actions and finding the right support in order to maintain balance in the contest. These are methodological exercises practiced three times a day. In the morning, by his own choice, the wrestler should practice some of the existing complex simulating exercises for the development of speed and strength of the muscles involved in the performance of a given hold and exercises for the 14

development of the quality and speed of each of its elements. This objective should be fulfilled on the mat, during the introductory stage. Actually, during this stage the wrestler has to fulfil two objectives: 1. Develop the qualities required for the performance of a given hold.

2. On the ground of tactical preparation master the variations conducive to the performance of a given hold.

The second stage is devoted to further consolidation of support and balance in the contest with an opponent, development of resistance to fatigue, development of defensive actions and other factors. The method of task assignement is widely used during this stage.

The wrestler is also advised to: 1. Practice his favorite hold with opponents of different size and weight; 2. During individual training practice his favorite hold at maximal speed.

3. Perform his favorite hold during increasing fatigue.

4. Perform his favorite hold in a contest with an opponent whose assignement is to prevent the hold.

5. Perform his favorite hold by himself and then in contest with the opponent.

It should be emphasized that during the second stage of training the wrestler practices his favorite hold in several tactical variations which depend on the individual features of his opponent's wrestling.

As a rule the wrestler manages to master his favorite hold due to the individual programme conceived for him and after practing the hold with 1-3 opponents.

IMPROVEMENT OF INDIVIDUAL WRESTLING TACTICS Research has revealed that the development of personal wrestling tactics remains the weakest point in the overall preparation system. Therefore, some compulsory principles of that system have been laid down, which place a special emphasis on an individual approach to training given holds. Based on research data and tests conducted by outstanding specialists we have developed and implemented a system and a specific methodological approach to action and holds, conceived for individual tactical training. It has three aspects: 1. In order to be successful in a contest with an opponent the wrestler should master all tactical operations. Therefore, elimination of deficiencies in the preparation stage should be the primary objective of this training. Also, at this stage the coach should devote equal attention to the ability of his trainee to fulfil individual asignements. The analysis of video material reveals individual weaknesses responsible for the wrestler's failing to carry out some actions in a contest with the opponent. The above data are used for establishing individual programs for self-drilling of wrestling tactics. Each invidual program is suited to the personal qualities of the wrestler and to his performance of given holds and actions.

2. Individual technical and tactical preparation is conceived in view of the wrestler's ability to cope with all situations that may arise in self-drilling or in contest with an opponent. Every wrestler solves the problems to the best of his individual abilities and based on his tactical knowledge. E.g. the task to maintain an advantageous position may be fulfilled either by neutralizing (immobilizing) the opponent, or by means of a complex action. The number 15

of offensive and defensive actions is infinite. For that reason the second level of the training process is closely connected with the first one, and is based on selection by each individual wrestler, of the most rational approach to a given assignement in a wrestling contest. The selection of relevant activities depends on the psychological, morphofunctional and other features of the wrestler and his opponent.

3. The nature of work depends on various algorithms (an algorithm implies all actions undertaken in view of fulfilling a given task and solving a given problem). In paractice it means a combination of individual actions into a complex entity (According to R. Petrov and I. Ilikhanov). For example, to gain advantage by attacking, gain advantage by performing a given action, gain advantage by holding the opponent, or gain advantage by taking a position of risk. Each of these tasks executed by an opponent calls for a different action (offensive, defensive, counter-attack, control hold or demonstration of action) which makes it possible for the wrestler to gain an advantage. After having mastered a combination of two actions the wrestler moves on to the performance of three or more actions. For example, how to gain an advantage by attacking, how to, demonstrate action to gain more advantage, how to recover and how to increase and retain an advantage.

The training program should be designed for improvement along the way, on the basis of individual tests and achievements rated according to a competition formula and to admission and control test requirements.

Individual training in technical and tactical mastery is conducted for groups of 2-3 wrestlers per coach.

The analysis of video material showing individual wrestlers and their opponents is a very important aspect of the training process. This material may be analyzed before or during training. Demonstrating of holds and actions of the most dangerous opponents are also included in training, up to two weeks prior to the date of the competition.

FORMATION TECHNICO-TACTIQUE DES LUTTEURS Apprentissage aux techniques de la lutte et ses spécificités La formation technique constitue la base même de la maîtrise d'un lutteur.

Aussi est-il impossibile de former un athlète de grande classe s'il ne possède pas un bon arsenal d'habitudes acquises dans l'exécution des actions techniques.

D'ailleurs, la majorité des spécialistes de lutte considèrent que tous les autres aspects de la préparation psychologique, physique et autre / ne jouent, comparés à la formation tactique et technique, qu'un rôle auxiliaire. En nous référant à la technique de la lutte nous avons en vue des actions déterminées par les règles de compétitions et qui permettent d'agir de manière active sur l'adversaire en vue de gagner un combat. En somme, la technique constitue l'ensemble des actions techniques avec toutes les spécificités de leur exécution en lutte debout ou à terre.

Les méthodes ayant pour objectif l'acquisition des habitudes motrices dans des conditions-type sont connues par tout le monde étant donné que ces mêmes conditions constituaient la base des recherches relatives aux habitudes, menées tant par des physiologistes que par des théoritiens du sport. Nul n'ignore que l'habitude se crée comme résultat de multiples répétitions de certains muovements. Ceci dit, le rôle principal d'un entraîneur-enseignat devrait résider en l'organisation aussi efficace que possible des répétitions avec la plus grande participation consciente de l'athlète en cours de ces actions. C'est ce principe d'une participation active et consciente de la part des élèves qui constitue la base didactique tant de l'entraînement sportif que de l'éducation physique en général.

La formation de l'athlète repose, donc, sur son attitude consciente à l'égard de l'acquisition des techniques d'un sport, sur sa conviction que les tâches d'entraînement proposées par l'enseignement doivent être accomplies avec exactitude, et aussi sur sa grande volonté de maîtriser les actions techniques de manière parfaite.

Dans le conditions de compétitions, les techniques utilisées par un lutteur sont toujours appliquées dans le cadre d'une interaction conflictuelle permanente avec l'adversaire. Et c'est justement à cause de cette interaction que la préparation technique d'un letteur doit comporter certaines particularités indispensables, à savoir: primo, il s'agit d'organiser l'acquisition des actions techniques non pas dans des conditions-tipe mais bien dans des conditions variables; secono^parallèlement et simultanément avec l'apprentissage des actions technique, il y a lieu d'acquérir les connaissances, le raisonnement et les habitudes techniques.

C'est la formation d'une idée globale concernant un élément concret de la technique de lutte qui constitue la première et la plus importante étape dans l'acquisition des habitudes motrices. Ainsi, et ceci est d'une extrême importance, l'athlète, tout en se faisant une idée visuelle concernant la structure motrice d'une actions, ses paramètres spatiaux, dynamiques et autres, reçoit une première information sur la nature tactique de la prise enseignée et également sur les possibilités de l'appliquer à bon escient dans des conditions de compétitions. Cette approche active et cosciente constitue la base d'une maîtrise durable des actions recquises. Les répétitions multiples des actions techniques, performées dans des conditions variables conformément à un programme bien conçu, acquièrent de 17

nouvelles qualités: les mouvements deviennent plus complexes, mieux mis au point, plus automatiques. En contrepartie, ceci permet à l'athlète qui exécute une action de se concentrer principalement sur la structure logique de celle-ci. Qui plus est, en cours de formation des habitudes motrice, l'athlète a la possibilité de maîtriser de manière concrète certaines variantes techniques ce qui constitue l'objectif principal de la tâche pédagogique en matière de formation techniques des lutteurs.

Les fondements de la formation technico-tactique Ce qui est évident en cours de développement de la lutte c'est la tendance d'augmenter et de rendre plus complexe l'arsenal technique des lutteurs. Cette tendance se manifeste à deux niveaux: en primier lieu c'est la mise au point par les meilleurs lutteurs du monde et par leurs entraîneurs de nouvelles actions techniques bien efficaces et, deux èmement, c'est l'invention de combinaisons d'attaque qui deviennent de plus en plus complexes. D'ailleurs, l'analyse des rencontres internationales en lutte libre démontre que les nouvelles actions complexes technico-tactiques et leurs combinaisons performées par les plus grands lutteurs constituent un élément de surprise pour leurs adversaires. Cela signifie que les athlètes et les entraîneurs ne cessent de rechercher et de mettre au point de nouvelles formes et variantes dans l'exécution des techniques et de la tactique de lutte. Il est incontestable qu'un lutteur ainsi armé constitue une enigme pour son adversire qui a du mal à s'adapter à ce style de lutte. Un exemple éloquent en sont les grands maîtres du tapis, à savoir: A. Fadzaev, S. Beloglazov, M. Khadartsev, D. Smith, B. Baumgartner, V Jordanov, et autres.

Les lutteurs mentionnés ont, au cours de longues années, remportés les victoires tant aux championnat d'Europe et du Monde qu'aux Jeux Olympiques où ils n'ont cessé de faire montre des techniques et de la tactique de lutte bien stables et perfectionnées jusqu'à l'automatisme. Tout ceci parle en faveur de leur grande maîtrise sportive.

Le nombre croissant et le caractère de plus en plus complexe des actions technique génèrent pour les entraîneurs et spécialistes une série de problèmes concernant l'organisation et la gestion du processus de formation technico-tactique des athlètes. Pour l'essentiel, étant donné que les lutteurs sont contraints à acquérir un arsenal toujours plus grand d'actions techniques, il s'agit de proposer des réponses concrètes aux questions suivantes: 1. comment et dans quel ordre organiser l'enseignement des actions techniques; 2. comment diriger et contrôler leur acquisition.

Nul n'ignore que la perfection technico-tactique est caractérisée par un esemble d'éléments interdépendants dont chacun doit être hautement automatisé. Plus ces éléments sont nombreux et plus les capacités potentielles de l'athlète sont grandes. Toujours est-il que l'interdépendance de ces élément doit être bien stabilisée, souple et exacte. Si cela est le cas, l'athlète pourra sans difficulté passer d'une variante à une autre tout en réagissant au moment propice aux actions de son adversaire. Cependant, nous pouvons constater que dans la pratique on a tendance à négliger cette interdépendance. C'est pour cette raison qu'en principe on s'efforce à enseigner aux lutteurs les éléments techniques / prises, entreprises, défenses / au lieu de les apprendre à concevoir de manière indépendante et à utiliser à bon escient certaines combinasons 18

d'éléments qui font partie de leur arsenal technique. Or, un choix approprie d'éléments techniques et tactiques ne sera possible qu'au cas où l'entraîneur et l'athlète on mis au point un modèle qui reflète de manière adéquate du lutteur lors d'un combat dans des conditions de compétitions.

Une école de formation moderne Ce qui caractérise la lutte libre c'est une grande variété d'actions techniques et tactiques dont la gamme ne cesse de s'enrichir. Ce développement technique et tactique est fonction tant d'une forte concurrence sur l'arène internationale qui impose aux athlètes et aux entraîneurs la recherche de nouveaux moyens menant à la victoire, que des changements survenus dans les règles de compétitions. Dans ce contexte il convient de remarquer, et cette opinion est partagée par les plus grands spécialistes en matière de la lutte, que la technique combinée avec la tactique constitue la base même de la maîtrise d'un lutteur, alors que par rapport à cette activité essentielle, tous les autres éléments de formation ne jouent qu'un rôle auxiliaire. Aussi nous faut-il parler de ce problème incontournable auquel doivent faire aussi bien la théorie que la pratique de la lutte, à savoir: le perfectionnement de la formation technico-tactique des athlètes.

Avant de traiter de notre objectif qu'est le perfectionnement technico-tactique lors de la formation des lutteurs, il y a lieu de nous attarder d'abord sur les lacunes fondamentales que de nos jours nous rencontrons la dite formation.

Ce qui constitue à nostre avis la lacune principale dans la formation des lutteurs c'est qu'on leur enseigne des prises de lutte et non pas à lutter contre un adversaire. Il va sans dire que la prise représente l'action-clef lors d'un combat, mais pour pouvoir l'appliquer de façon efficace, un lutteur doit être formé de manière appropriée / formation stratégique et tactique / et toujours dand des conditions où il lutte contre un adversaire. Une analyse des actions en lutte libre performées lors des rencontres nous permet de constater qu'au cours d'un combat, 7-9% du temps seulement est consacré à l'exécution concrète des prises, alors que la majeure partie du temps imparti est utilisée à la préparation de la prise, c'est à dire à la lutte en vue d'une prise, aux maneuvres de duel, à la création d'une situation propice à l'amorce de l'attaque, aux feintes exécutées avec l'objectif de tromper l'adversaire et l'empêcher de deviner quelle prise sera portée, aux action de défense, etc. Il s'ensuit, donc, à la lumière de ce que nous venons d'avancer, qu'une attention particulère incombe à la préparation tactique.

Or, les observations pédagogiques démontèrent que dans la pratique on n'attache pas assaz d'attention a la formation tactique, malgré le fait déjà mentionné que la réalisation d'une prise efficace demeure la fonction directe des actions tactiques utilisées par un lutteur. Or, il ne faut pas oublier un fait important: plus un athlète possède d'actions technique, mieux il sera armé pour résoundre les tâches tactiques complexes qui apparaissent dans la lutte avec un adversaire, et mieux, il sera en mesure d'attaquer de manière efficace et de parer les actions d'attaque engagées par son adversaire.

Ce qui représente à notre avis une deuxième lacune majeure dans la formation technico-tactique des athlètes c'est l'ordre d'apprentissage aux techniques de lutte. C'est que l'enseignement a tendance à négliger certains principes didactiques fondamentaux: "à partir de ce qui est connu vers ce qui est inconnu", "à par19

tir de ce qui est simple vers ce qui est plus complexe".

L'essentiel du problème se résume en ce qui suit: qu'a l'heure actuelle, dans une première étape de formation, l'enseignement en techniques de lutte porte sur l'acquisitions simultanée des actions de prise, de défense et de contre-prise.

En effet, après avoir maîtrisé une prise, l'athlète est obligé à apprendre la défense contre cette même prise ainsi que la contre-prise appropriée. Or, selon l'avis des plus grands spécialistes de la lutte, cet ordre d'apprentissage des actions d'attaque et de défense ne permet pas l'acquisition des habitudes motrices durables.

Je m'explique en vous proposant d'imaginer la situation suivante: avec nos élèves nous construisons un édifice / nous leurs apprenons à attaquer / mais avant de le parachever, nous nous efforçons à détruire les fondements de ce même édifice / nous leur apprenons à détruire les attaques./ C'est pour cette raison que la majeure partie des lutteurs ne fait pas montre d'une école de lutte bien conçue; aux compétitions, ils ne parviennent pas à exécuter des prises de lutte libre de manière "classique".

Une autre lacune qu'il nous faut indiquer est imputable à l'inexistence d'un système qui devrait régir la phase initiale de formation technico-tactique. Selon nos observations, la majorité des entraîneurs travaillent à base de leurs propes expériences en déterminant, au gré de leur fantaisie, le contenu des matières enseignées dans le cadre du processus d'apprentissage-entraînement. Cette approche dépourvue de tout système a eu comme résultat l'appauvrissement de l'arsenal technique des lutteurs; ce sont notamment les prises comprenant l'activité des jambes qui sont rarement utilisées aux compétitions.

Le manque d'un système approprié dans la formation de l'arsenal technique des athlètes est également démontrée par le fait que certains entraîneurs ne font que copier les techniques des plus grands lutteurs sans tenir compte des caractéristiques individuelles de leurs élèves. D'autres s'efforcent à faire apprendre l'exécution des prises et actions appartenant à tous les groupes de classement sans se soucier de leur portée et du degré de leur difficulté. Un troisième groupe d'entraîneurs misent sur l'enseignement des prises qu'ils sont capables de bien expliquer et qui leur semblent les plus efficaces.

Il est évident que la formation conçue selon le principe évoqué plus haut, implique l'acquisition de habitudes motrices lors de l'apprentissage des actions technico-tactiques. Selon ce principe, l'apprentissage des actions technico-tactiques est toujours fonction des actions assimilées au préalable, alors que la maîtrise de ces dernières sera immanquablement vérifiée, confirmée et stablisée lors de l'exécution des actions faisant partie d'une phase plus avancée de l'entraînement.

INDIVIDUALISATION DU PROCESSUS DE FORMATION Lorsqu'il s'agit du perfectionnement technico-tactique des lutteurs, il y a lieu d'aspirer au moins à deux objectifs. Dans le premier cas, il s'agit de maintenir au niveau voulu et même de perfectionner les actions d'attaque "favorites" qui se sont avérées efficaces dans les performances d'un lutteur. Le deuxième objectif implique des efforts constants relatifs à la tactique du combat. Dans le cadre du processus d'enseignement-entraînement, les deux tâches sont interdépendantes et étroitement liées entre elles.

Le perfectionnement de la prise favorite La formation de base, en tant qu'objet de l'apprentissage initial / depuis les techniques fondamentales de combat jusqu'à un certain niveau de maîtrise /, implique l'acquisition de la prise favorite d'un lutteur. Dans la pratique, ce processus se réalise par étapes, c'est à dire que chaque phase d'acquisition des techniques de base doit correspondre au niveau de préparation technique assimilée par l'athlète. Ainsi, dans une première étape - celle de familiarisation avec la matière - l'athlète a pour tâche de maîtriser les méchanismes fondamentaux des actions technico-tactiques. Dans une deuxième étape - celle de formation de l'habilité motrice - le processus d'apprentissage se déroule de manière suivante: 1. l'acquisition des détails des actions technico-tactiques; 2. la maîtrise de l'exécution exacte de ces détails durant toute une action technico-tactique. C'est seulement à la troisième étape que survient le passage du niveau des connaissances et de l'habileté à celui de formation des habitudes motrices dans des conditions variables.

Chacune des étapes mentionnées a pour objectif la réalisation d'un résultat, voire la solution d'une tâche de formation. Ceci permet à l'entraîneur de se consacrer davantage à une tâche d'enseignement, de contrôler de plus près les résultats et de bien enregistret les spécificités d'un lutteur, ce dont dépend l'étape suivante de l'apprentissage. C'est en cour d'acquisition des actions technico-tactiques fodamentales, qui se réalise moyennant les multiples répétitions dans des conditions variées, que chez les lutteurs commence à se former une prise favorite, celle qui sera le plus souvent utilisée dans des épreuves de compétitions.

Cette prise est toujours fonction des caractéristiques individuelles.

Les spécialistes appellent cette prise le plus souvent utilisée prise favorite d'un lutteur.

Bien que les approches des spécialistes concernant la prise favorite variant, ils sont tous unanimes en ce qui concerne son importance. Ainsi, selon A. Novikov, la prise favorite est une action technique le plus souvent performée par un lutteur.

Pour S. Préobrajenski, la prise favorite est un tour d'adresse exécuté de façon unique par un lutteur.

Bien que la haute maîtrise technique s'exprime, selon I. Alikhanov, à travers une grande variété d'action, c'est la stabilité dune prise susceptible de contrecarrer les facteurs défavorables qui en fait prise favorite d'un athlète.

Etant donné que sur l'arène internationale la concurrence devient chaque année de plus en plus forte, une haute maîtrise technique doit être sans cesse perfectionnée.

Tout en insistant sur la nécessité d'un perfectionnement constant de la prise favorite, il ne faut pas oublier ce qui suit: 1. les adversaires s'y adaptent et préparent leurs contre-prises; 2. ce qui fait défaut dans ces prises c'est le facteur nouveauté; 3. un lutteur change en cour de sa carrière: certaines de ses qualités augmentent / force, endurance /, d'autres diminuent / vitesse, agilité, souplesse /; 4. les adversaires varient: ils peuvent être forts et endurant, rapides et habiles, avoir la même taille que le concurrent, être plus grandes ou plus petits.

Il nous faut constater à regret que pour certains athlètes le perfectionnement signifie l'élimination des défauts. Ainsi, en perfectionnant de nouvelles actions de défense et d'attaque qui leurs semblent appropriées et efficaces, ils attachent, en règle générale, moins d'importance à la prise favorite.

Cependant, le principe fondamental de perfectionnement de la maîtrise technico-tactique se résume en l'action conjugée de toutes les facettes de la maîtrise, en tenant compte, bien entendu, des caractéristiques individuelles des athlètes, tant et si bien qu'en principe un lutteur découvre sa prise favorite de manière indépendante, quasiment intuitive.

Lors de l'acquisition et du perfectionnement de la prise favorite, il convient de tenir compte de ce qui suit: 1. Les conditions dans lesquelles une prise favorite se manifeste / sa place dans l'arsenal technico-tatique du lutteur; dans quelle mesure est-elle utilisée par les plus grand lutteur; qui sont ceux qui ont atteint la perfection en l'exécutant, etc/; 2. Les capacités personnelles pour son exécution / force physique, inertie, réaction dans le contract avec l'adversaire, poids, taille, endurance/.

3. La situation dans laquelle une attaque est amorcée, chose qui revêt une grande importance tant en ce qui concerne la manière de l'exécuter qu'en ce qui concerne son efficacité.

4. Le rythme d'exécution de la prise, voire la répartition des éléments de sa structure dans le temps.

5. Les variantes des actions techniques qui seront appliquées selon les conditions dans lesquelles la prise est exécutée.

6. Différentes variantes des prises qui pourraient être utilisées dans des situations données lors de l'exécution de la prise favorite.

7. La nécessité de perfectionner la structure d'exécution de la prise favorite.

8. La grande attention qui doit être attachée à l'apprentissage et au fignolage des détails importants. C'est souvent dans l'originalité de l'exécution de certains éléments conventionnels que réside le secret d'une exécution efficace de la prise.

9. Connaître les facteurs négatifs, chose dont bien souvent dépend une bonne application de la prise favorite.

A titre de conclusion il y a lieu de souligner que les prises favorites constituent la base du style individuel de lutte. Qui plus est, l'acquis technico-tactique des athlètes ne cesse de se transformer et de devenir plus complexe à travers les efforts de perfectionnement des prises favorites et de maîtrise des liens et combinaisons toujours nouveaux.

Ce qui caractérise la maîtrise technico-tactique d'un lutteur c'est que son arsenal est muni de quelques prises favorites qu'ils exécutent à la perfection.

Tous les ans la FILA désigne le meilleur lutteur du monde en lui décernant le prix "La chaussure d'or". Ce prix a été remporté par les champions olympiques S. Beloglazov, A. Fadzaev, D. Smith.

Selon les spécialistes en la matière, la grande maîtrise de ses champions réside dans le fait qu'il s'agit de grands improvisateurs du tapis: d'une part, ils construisent des labyrinth pour désorienter leurs adversaires, alors que, d'autre part, ils maîtrisent la tactique de lutte au point qu'ils sont en mesure de déceler l'intention de leurs adversaires en prévoyant plusieurs actions consécutives de leurs attaques. Ce qui les rend incomparables c'est une large gamme d'actions complexes tactiques avec leurs variantes en leur enchaînement logiques. En effet, c'est justement cette approche à la pratique de la lutte libre qui semble le mieux répondre aux exigences actuelles des matches de compétitions.

Il est, donc, évident que les prises favorites, qui déterminent un style individuel de combat, constituent la base même de la maîtrise d'un athlète. Qui plus est, la formation technico-tactique qui n'a pas pour objectif d'élargir le volume des actions techniques mais bien de maîtriser de nouveaux éléments tactiques, devien de plus en plus complexe à travers le perfectionnement des prises favorites.

Déperdition d'efficacité dans l'exécution des prises favorites Les résultats d'enquêtes nous indiquent que la déperdition d'efficacité des actions d'attaque favorites représente un phénomène assez répendu dans la pratique de la lutte. Vu qu'un athlète n'est pas toujours en mesure de compenser cette déperdition par d'autres actions d'attaque, ce circle vicieux entraîne la diminution de ses résultats sportifs. Chez les plus grands maîtres du tapais, le coefficient d'efficacité d'une action d'attaque favorite s'élève à 80-100%. La diminution de cet indice, confirmée par la statistique, mérite une analyse plus profonde de ce phénomène néfaste avec l'objectif d'en déceler les causes, de les enrayer et de regagner l'efficacité des attaques.

En règle générale, la desautomatisation des actions d'attaque est fonction des lacunes surveneus dans la première et la deuxième phase d'une action. Le manque d'efficacité des opérations ayant pour but de préparer une situation favorable à l'exécution de la prise se répercute sur le fait que le temps utilisé par un lutteur en vue de soumettre sa surface d'appui à celle qui est propre à la masse des deux concurrents, dépasse le cadre de la variance optimale, ce qui a pour résultat l'échec de toute l'action.

Etant donné que la diminution de l'efficacité est imputable au dépassement du cadre temporel, dans la phase principale, propre à la variance optimale, il y a lieu d'augmenter le volume des opération qui préparent la situation favorable à l'exécution d'une action d'attaque concrète. Cette action doit être appliquée et vérifiée dans des combats avec des adversaires dotés de caractéristiques psychiques et physiques différentes. Cette approche qui permet de varier le contenu de la première phase tout en stabilisant la deuxième, s'érige en obstacle à la désautomatisation de l'ensemble de l'action.

Dans la pratique, cette tâche est mise en oeuvre par des programmes de perfectionnement individuels.

Le travail avec un lutteur ayant perdu l'efficacité dans l'exécution de sa prise d'attaque favorite, de l'enfourchement simple, par exemple, est en principe réparti en deux étapes. Ce qui constitue l'objectif de la première étape d'entraînement c'est de stabiliser les phases de préparation d'une situation favorable à l'attaque et celle de remener sa surface d'appui au centre de gravitation des deux concurrents. La tâche d'entraînement détermine la méthodologie des exercices qui sont performés trois fois par jour. Pour l'entraînement du matin nous proposons des exercises complexes d'imitation et autres avec l'objectif de faire développer les qualités de force-vitesse pour les groupes musculaires qui participent à l'exécution d'une action concrète tout en insistant sur la précision et la rapidité dans l'exécution de certaines phases de l'action. Les exercises mentionnés sont performés lors de la phase préparatoire d'entraînement sur le tapis. En ce qui concerne la partie principale de l'entraînement sur le tapis, l'athlète doit accomplir deux tâches: 1. maîtriser tous les éléments de préparation ayant pour objectif 23

l'excution d'une action concrète; 2. maîtriser, à base de moyens tactiques assimilés, diverses variantes de l'action d'attaque.

Dans la deuxième phase du perfectionnement, il s'agit tant de stabiliser la phase de ramener sa propre surface d'appui au centre de gravitation de la masse de deux concurrents que d'augmenter la stabilité des actions pouvant parer les effets de la fatigue, de la défense de l'adversaire et autres.

A cet effet nous proposons à l'athlète: 1. Mener les actions d'attaque préférées dans des combats engagés avec des adversaires de taille et de poids différents.

2. Réaliser les actions d'attaque préférées dans le cadre des combats d'enseignement conduits dasns un rythme extrêmement rapide.

3. Performer les actions d'attaque favorites dans les circonstances d'une fatigue croissante.

4. Perfectionner l'action d'attaque préférée dans le combat avec un adversaire qui a pour tâche de résister à toute attaque.

5. Réaliser les actions d'attaque favorites dans des combats avec le concurrent principal.

Il y a lieu de souligner qu'en cours de la deuxième étape du perfectionnement, tenant compte des caractéristiques individuelles des adversaires, l'athlète a pour tâche d'engager ses actions d'attaque préférées en utilisant aussi sa maîtrise tactique.

En règle générale, ce programme de perfectionnement individuel de la prise favorite ne porte ses fruits qu'après avoir été appliqué dans des combats avec plusieurs concurrents.

PERFECTIONNEMENT INDIVIDUEL DE LA TACTIQUE DE COMBATS Les résultats des recherches menées dans ce domaine indiquent que la tactique demeure le maillon défaillant du système de perfectionnement des lutteurs.

Cependant, les chercheurs ont mis au point un certain nombre de lois inhérentes à ce processus, chose qui leur a permis de proposer la répartition la meilleure des actions en cours de combat. C'est en utilisant les résultats des plus éminents spécialistes que nous avons élaboré et vérifié un système de prises méthodologiques avec l'intention de contribuer au perfectionnement individuel de la tactique de combats. Les tâches proposées doivent être menées à trois niveaux: 1. S'il veut mener des combats avec n'importe lequel des concurrents, un lutteur doit avoir maîtrisé toutes les opérations techniques. Aussi le premier objectif de l'entraînement serait-il de combler les lacunes de la formation et de lui apprendre à résoudre toutes les tâches qu'impose la conduite des combats. C'est en analysant des enregistrements vidéo des combats qu'il est possible de sélectionner des opérations et actions qu'un lutteur n'est pas parvenu à maîtriser; ce qui est également important c'est de constater quels sont les adversaires avec lesquels une action n'a pas pu être menée à bien.

A base de données ainsi obtenues on procède à l'élaboration d'un programme individuel de conduite des combats où l'accent est placé sur l'ordre recquis dans le maîtrise des actions.

2. La formation technico-tactique individuel e à pour objectif la solution de toutes les tâches qui apparaissent en cour d'un combat. Nous entendons par là 24

qu'une même action technique sera performée en fonction des moyens individuels qui sont propres à un athlète. Ainsi, par esemple, la tâche qui a pour objectif de maintenir l'avantage peur être accomplie soit par l'immobilisation de l'adversaire, soit par une action complexe qui implique différentes opérations. En effet, déjà en attaque, en défense et en contre-attaque, le nombre de ces opérations couvre une gamme extrêmement large. C'est pour cette raison que à ce deuxième niveau du processus d'enseignement-entraînement, qui se rattache directement au premier, il convient de determiner pour chacun des athlètes les moyens lui permettant de résoudre de manière la plus rationnelle les tâches qui seront utilisées lors de combats. Il faut indiquer qu'en faisant le choix des moyens qui seront utilisés il y a lieu de tenir compte des caractéristiques individuelles / psychologiques, morpho-fonctionnelles et autres / tant du lutteur en question que de celles de ses concurrents principaux.

3. La tâche d'entraînement a pour but la formation de divers algorithmes pour la conduite des combats. Dans la pratique, il s'agit de réunir des actions séparées dans des ensembles complexe / R. Petrov, I. Alikhanov / , par exemple: faire acte de reconnaissance des capacités de l'adversaire et parvenir à un avantage; gagner un avantage et faire preuve d'activité; parvenir à un avantage et le maintenir; parvenir à un avantage et réaliser la mise en danger de l'adversaire. En cours des ces opérations et en fonction des tâches assignées à l'autre concurrent, il y lieu de modifier les actions qui ont permis de réaliser un avantage / attaque, contre-attaque, accomplissement d'une pris contrôlée ou démonstration d'activité/. Par la suite, une fois que l'athlète a maîtrisé les ensembles à deux opérations, on lui propose des ensembles comprenant trois et davantage d'actions, par exemple: faire acte de reconnaissance des capacités de l'adversaire, réaliser un avantage et faire montre d'activité, ou bien: réaliser un avantage, rétablir ses force, augmenter l'avantage et le maintenir.

Cependant, une planification appropriée ainsi que la réalisation de ce plan doivent être mises au point et corrigées tant moyennant les matches d'enseigenement, d'entraînement et de contrôle organisés selon la formule de compétitions, que dans le cadre des combats de simulation et de contrôle.

La méthodologie qui est appliqueée à tous les trois niveaux est fondée sur des tâches assignée ainsi que sur l'analyse des combats menés par des adversaires potentiels et les meilleurs lutteurs du monde. Ce travail est réalisé dans le cadre de l'entraînement de base sur le tapis. En moyenne, 50% du temps imparti est consacré au perfectionnement des actions où il faut tous le temps revenir sur le perfectionnement des combinaisons fondamentales. A part cela, au cours de chaque séance d'entraînement, l'athlète doit oeuvrer au perfectionnement de deux-trois actions supplémentaires. Dans le cadre du micro-cycle hebdomadaire, l'athlète doit reprendre chacune des action au moins trois-quatre fois. Les 3540% du tamps de l'entraînement de base sont consacrés au perfectionnement des ensembles technico-tactiques / algorithmes/. Leur choix se réalise en fonction des besoins concrets d'un lutteur et des caractéristiques de son adversaires.

Les 10-15% du temps de la partie fondamentale d'entraînement sont destinés au perfectionnement de la tactique pour toute la durée d'un combat. Au préalable, l'athlète dresse ensemble avec son entraîneur un plan de conduite du combat, mais il n'y a que les actions se rattachant à l'attaque qui seront concrétisées de 25

façon détaillés.

L'entrainement relatif à l'individualisation de la maîtrise technico-tactique fait partie du travail par groupes où un entraîneur s'occupe de deux-trois athlètes.

Ce qui constitue un important outil de travail c'est le visionnage des enregistrements vidéo des combats menés tant par les athlètes observés que par leurs adversaires, pris aux compétitions et aux séances d'entraînement. En principe, le visonnage a lieu avant l'entraînement, plus rarement en cours de celui-ci. Durant les dexu semaines qui précèdent les compétitions il y a lieu d'utiliser de manière active la méthode de modélisation des actions utilisées par les concurrents principaux.

ТЕХНИКО-ТАКТИЧЕСКАЯ ПОДГОТОВКА БОРЦА Особенности обучения технике борьбы Техническая подготовка является основой мастерства борца. Без достаточного арсенала навыков выполнения технических действий невозможно подготовить спортсмена высокого класса. По мнению большинства специалистов по спортивной борьбе, остальные виды подготовки спортсменов: психологическая, физическая и др. играют вспомогательную роль по отношению к технической и тактической. Под техникой в спортивной борьбе подразумевают двигательные действия, разрешенные правилами соревнований и позволяющие активно воздействовать на противника для достижения победы в схватке. Разделы техники представляют собой совокупность технических действий, связанных особенностями их выполнения стоя или в положении партера. Общеизвестными являются методы формирования двигательного навыка в стандартных условиях, так как именно в этих условиях проводились исследования по изучению навыка как в физиологии, так и в теории спорта. Как известно, навык закрепляется в результате многократных повторений двигательных действий. В этой связи основной задачей тренера-преподавателя является наиболее эффективная организация повторений и максимальное участие мышления спортсменов в ходе этого повторения. Для этого необходима успешная реализация одного из основополагающих дидактических принципов физического воспитания и спортивной тренировки - принципе сознательности и активности обучающихся. В соответствии с ним обучение строится на сознательном отношении спортсмена к процессу освоения техники вида спорта, личной убежденности в обязательности точного выполнения предлагаемой тренером учебно-тренировочной работы, а также предельной заинтересованности в совершенном владении техническими действиями. Применение техники и ее использование борцом в соревновательной деятельности проходит в условиях постоянного конфликтного взаимодействия с соперником. Именно наличие конфликтного взаимодействия накладывает определенные особенности в технической подготовке борцов. Они заключаются в необходимости: во-первых, организации освоения технических действий не в стандартных условиях, а в вариативных; во-вторых, в параллельном и одновременном, наряду с изучением технических действий, усвоении технических знаний, умений и навыков.

Первым и весьма ответственным этапом овладения двигательных навыков является создание целостного представления о конкретном элементе техники борьбы. При этом спортсмены, что чрезвычайно важно, наряду со зрительными представлениями о двигательной структуре действия, сведениями о его пространственных, динамических и других параметрах, получают и первую информацию о тактической сущности изучаемого приема, а также о возможностях его последующего применения в соревновательных условиях. Таким образом, создаются предпосылки для сознательного и активного отношения борца к образованию прочного двигательного умения. В процессе многократного повторения технического действия в вариативных условиях сложившиеся управляемые программы двигательного действия получают дальнейшее качественное развитие, они усложняются, оттачиваются и автоматизируются. В свою очередь, это позволяет борцу акцентировать внимание при реализации технического действия преимущественно на его смысловой структуре. Тем самым при формировании двигательного навыка создаются реальные возможности для практического освоения технических вариантов. что обеспечивает успешное решение главной педагогической задачи технической подготовки борца. Основы технико-тактической подготовки В развитии спортивной борьбы отчетливо видна тенденция расширения и усложнения технического арсенала борцов. Данная тенденция сохраняется за счет: во-первых, находок новых эффективных технических действий выдающимися борцами и тренерами; во-вторых, создания все более сложных атакующих комбинаций. Так, анализ международных соревнований по вольной борьбе показывает, что использование новых эффективных технико-тактических действий и их комбинации ведущими борцами в схватках являются неожиданностью для их соперников. Это говорит о том, что спортсмены и тренеры постоянно находятся в поиске, ищут и находят новые формы и варианты исполнения техники и тактики борьбы. Такой борец становится загадкой для соперников, которым очень трудно приспособиться к нему. Наглядным примером могут служит известные мастера ковра А. Фадзаев, С. Белоглазов, М. Хадарцев, Д. Смит, Б. Баумгарднер, В. Йорданов и др. Эти борцы на протяжении многих лет успешно выступают на крупнейших соревнованиях: на чемпионате Европы, мира и Олимпийских играх, где показывают стабильность техники и тактики борьбы, которые ими постоянно совершенствуются до автоматизма. Все это говорит об их высоком спортивном мастерстве.

Расширение и усложнение технического арсенала борцов ставит перед тренерами и специалистами ряд проблем по организации и управлению технико-тактической подготовкой спортсменов. Их суть заключается в том, что необходимость освоения борцами все большего арсенала технических действий требует конкретных ответов на вопросы: 1) как организовать и в какой последовательности проводить изучение технических действий? 2) как управлять и контролировать их освоение. Не является секретом, что технико-тактическое совершенствование характеризуется комплексом взаимосвязанных элементов, каждый из которых должен быть доведен до высокой степени автоматизма. Чем этих элементов больше, тем выше потенциальные возможности борца. При этом взаимосвязь элементов во всех случаях должна быть прочной, гибкой и надежной. Только тогда спортсмен может с легкостью переходить от одного варианта к другому, своевременно реагируя на действия соперника. Однако можно сказать, что на эту связь на практике обращают мало внимания, так как вопрос пока состоит в том, как научить борца самим техническим элементам (приемам, защитам и контрприемам), а не самостоятельному осмысливанию и целенаправленному подбору этих элементов в своем арсенале. Целенаправленный подбор технических и тактических элементов возможен только тогда, когда у тренера и спортсмена есть модель, адекватно отражающая соревновательную деятельность борца в поединке. ИЗДЕРЖКИ СОВРЕМЕННОЙ ШКОЛЫ ПОДГОТОВКИ Техника и тактика в вольной борьбе исключительно многообразны, причем их объем постоянно обогащается. Развитие техники и тактики борьбы обусловлено, с одной стороны, неослабевающей спортивной конкуренцией на международной арене, т.е. поиском тренерами и спортсменами новых путей к победе, а с другой стороны - изменением правил соревнований, при этом необходимо отметить, что, как справедливо считают ведущие специалисты по спортивной борьбе, техника в сочетании с тактикой является основой спортивного мастерства борца, тогда как остальные стороны подготовки играют вспомогательную роль по отношению к этой результирующей деятельности. Таким образом, можно выделить непроходящую проблему, стоящую над теорией и практикой спортивной борьбы, а именно: совершенствование техникотактической подготовки спортсменов.

Для того, чтобы определить пути дальнейшего совершенствования технико-тактической подготовки борцов, выделим основные недостатки этой подготовки в настоящее время. Основной недостаток, на наш взгляд, в подготовке борцов заключается в том, что спортсменов обучают приемам борьбы, а не самому ведению борьбы с соперником. Безусловно, прием является результирующим действием борца в поединке, но для эффективного проведения борец должен уметь провести соответствующую подготовку (стратегическую и тактическую) при постоянном противоборстве соперника. Анализ соревновательной деятельности борцов вольного стиля позволяет говорить о том, что в течение схватки на выполнение конкретных приемов приходится только 7-9% времени, а остальная часть времени расходуется на подготовку выполнения приема, т.е. на борьбу за захват, маневрирование и единоборство, за создание необходимой ситуации начала атаки, ложные действия, выполняемые для того, чтобы ввести в заблуждение соперника относительно истинных намерений по проведению того или иного приема, защитных действий и т.д. В этой связи большое значение приобретает тактическая подготовка. Как показали результаты проведенных педагогических наблюдений, этой подготовке на практике должного внимания не уделяется. В то же время, как уже отмечали, эффективность и надежность проведения приема находятся в прямой зависимости от тактических действий борцов. И вполне естественно, что, чем большим числом технических действий владеет борец, тем лучше он подготовлен решать сложные тактические задачи, возникающие в процессе противоборства с соперником, тем в большей мере способен противостоять его атакующим действиям и эффективно атаковать. Другим существенным недостатком в технико-тактической подготовке спортсменов является неправильная организация последовательности изучения техники борьбы. В ней нарушены дидактические принципы обучения: "от известного к неизвестному", "от простого к сложному". Суть недостатка заключается в следующем. Обучение технике на этапе начальной подготовки предусматривает одновременное овладение приемом, защитой и контрприемом. То есть, освоив прием, борец должен затем овладеть защитой и контрприемом от этого приема, но такая последовательность изучения атакующих и защитных действий, как отмечали многие ведущие специалисты по спортивной борьбе, не позволяет сформировать прочные двигательные навыки. Чтобы пояснить мысль, представим себе такую картину. Мы с учениками строим здание (учимся атаковать) и тут же, не достроив здание, начинаем разрушать фундамент своего здания (учимся

разрушать атаки). Именно поэтому у большинства борцов не просматривается хорошо поставленной "школы" борьбы, т.е. не умеют демонстрировать во время соревнования "классического" исполнения приемов вольной борьбы. Следующим существенным недостатком является бессистемность начальной технико-тактической подготовки. Большинство тренеров работают, как показывают результаты наблюдения, на основе своего опыта, произвольно устанавливая содержание изучаемого материала в учебно-тренировочном процессе. Такой бессистемный подход привел к обеднению технического арсенала борцов, в частности, мало используются приемы с действием ног в соревновательных схватках. Бессистемность формирования технического арсенала проявилась в том, что отдельные тренеры прибегают при обучении к копированию техники ведущих спортсменов, не учитывая индивидуальных особенностей своих учеников, другие тренеры стремятся научить борцов выполнять основные приемы и действия из всех классификационных групп, при этом не оценивая их степень значимости. Третья группа тренеров больше внимания уделяет тем приемам, которым они могут лучше научить и которые считают наиболее эффективными. Известно, что обучение в соответствии с этим принципом должно обеспечивать положительный перенос двигательных навыков при изучении технико-тактических действий. С учетом этого принципа изучение последующих технико-тактических действий всегда основывается на предыдущих, а предыдущие требуют дальнейшего подкрепления последующими.

ИНДИВИДУАЛИЗАЦИЯ ПОДГОТОВИТЕЛЬНОГО ПРОЦЕССА В спортивной борьбе при совершенствовании техникотактической подготовленности спортсмена, как минимум возникают две задачди. Первая сводится к сохранению и дальнейшему совершенствованию эффективности "излюбленных" атакующих действий борца. Вторая обусловлена необходимостью постоянного поиска в вопросах тактики ведения поединка. В учебно-тренировочном процессе обе задачи решаются в тесном единстве.

Совершенствование коронного приема Базовая подготовка как предмет первоначального изучения (с основ ведения единоборства до определенного уровня мастерства) направлена на формирование коронного приема у борцов. На практике этот процесс происходит поэтапно. Каждый этап освоения базовой техники соответствует уровню технической подготовленности борцов. Так на первом этапе - ознакомления - ставится задача овладеть основным механизмом технико-тактических действий. На втором этапе - формирования двигательного умения - процесс обучения проходит следующим образом: 1) усвоение деталей технико-тактических действий; 2) овладение правильным выполнением деталей в целостном технико-тактическом действии. На третьем этапе происходит переход от уровня умения к формированию двигательного навыка в вариативных условиях. Каждый поэтапный уровень освоения базовых действий направлен на получение определенного результата, т.е. для решения определенной вспомогательной задачи. При этом тренеру легче проводить контроль за продолжительностью и качеством обучения, так как от правильности учета особенностей зависят последующие этапы обучения. По мере овладения базовыми технико-тактическими действиями в процессе многократных повторений в вариативных условиях, на основе индивидуальных особенностей, у борцов вырабатывается определенный излюбленный прием, который чаще используется в соревновательных схватках. Этот изпюбленный прием, доведенный до уровня "автоматизма", специалистами назван коронным приемом. Понятие "коронный прием" в спортивной борьбе специалистами трактуется по-разному, но они единодушны в оценке его значимости. Так А. Новиков отмечает, что коронный прием - техническое действие, наиболее часто выполняемое тем или иным спортсменом С. Преображенский считает, что коронный прием является как бы техническим трюком с единственным исполнителем в лице данного борца. Высокое техническое мастерство борца, как указывает И. Алиханов, характеризуется большой вариативностью действий в предварительной фазе. По мнению автора, такая устойчивость приема против сбивающих факторов делает его для данного борца коронным. Высшее спортивное мастерство требует непрерывного совершенствования технико-тактической подготовки, в связи с тем, что конкуренция на международной арене усиливается с каждым годом.

Подчеркивая необходимость совершенствования коронного приема, необходимо учитывать следующие причины: во-первых, соперники приспосабливаются и готовят противодействие; во-вторых, у таких приемов отсутствует элемент новизны; в-третьих, меняется сам борец - какие-то качества повышаются (например: сила, выносливость), какие-то могут снижаться (быстрота, подвижность, гибкость); в-четвертых, соперники могут встречаться самые разнообразные: сильные и выносливые, быстрые и ловкие, сообразительные, высокорослые и низкорослые. К сожалению, некоторые борцы под совершенствованием понимают ликвидацию имеющихся у них недостатков. Совершенствуют новые защиты и приемы, которые являются, по их мнению, эффективными и надежными и, как правило, меньше внимания уделяют коронным приемам. Основной принцип совершенствования технико-тактического мастерства заключается в сопряженном воздействии на все стороны мастерства, с учетом индивидуальных особенностей спортсмена, так как коронный прием чаще всего борец находит самостоятельно, интуитивно. В ходе изучения и совершенствования коронного приема необходимо учитывать следующее: 1. Предпосылки появления данного приема (место в арсенале борьбы, насколько популярен он у ведущих борцов, кто достиг совершенства в исполнении и т.д.).

2. Свои возможности при выполнении этого приема (физическая сила, инерция, реакция взаимного контакта, вес, рост, выносливость).

3. Ситуацию начала атаки, необходимую для эффективного проведения приема, и способы ее создания.

4. Необходимый ритм выполнения приема, т.е. увязку отдельных элементов структуры приема во времени.

5. Различные варианты тактических действий, связанных с изменением условий проведения данного приема.

6. Вариации захватов, которые можно использовать в тех или иных ситуациях при выполнении этого коронного приема.

7. Необходимость совершенствования самой структуры выполнения коронного приема.

8. Внимательнейшим образом изучать и оттачивать важнейшие детали - своеобразные узловые моменты, ибо в них часто скрыта основа эффективного проведения приема.

9. Сбивающие факторы, от знания которых зависит во многом дальнейшее успешное применение коронного приема. Делая вывод, можно сказать, что коронные приемы составляют основу индивидуального стиля ведения поединков. Более того,

технико-тактическая подготовленность борца в немалой степени трансформируется, усложняется в направлении совершенствования коронных приемов и освоения все новых связок и комбинаций с ними. Характерной чертой технико-тактического мастерства борцов является наличие в их арсенале нескольких коронных приемов, которыми они владеют в совершенстве. Ежегодно ФИЛА определяет лучшего борца мира, присуждая им специальный приз "Золотая борцовка". Лауреатами этого приза становились Олимпийские чемпионы С. Белоглазов, А. Фадзаев, Д. Смит. По мнению специалистов вольной борьбы, высокое мастерство их состоит в том. что они являются импровизаторами на ковре, строят различные лабиринты, в которых запутываются их соперники, и за счет тактического кругозора умеют во-время распознавать замыслы своих соперников, за два-три хода вперед предвидеть, какие действия предпримут в атаке их соперники. Широкое использование различных тактических связок, вариантов, комплексов делает их неуязвимыми. Такое направление в вольной борьбе в настоящее время является наиболее прогрессивным, отвечая новым требованиям ведения соревновательных схваток. Таким образом, основой спортивного мастерства борца являются коронные приемы, которые определяют индивидуальный стиль ведения поединка. Более того, вся технико-тактическая подготовленность расширяется за счет освоения тактических подготовок, а не за счет объема овладения техническими действиями, и усложняется в направлении совершенствования коронных приемов. Феномен потери эффективности излюбленных (коронных) технических действий Результаты исследования показали, что достаточно широкое распространение в практике имеет явление потери эффективности излюбленных атакующих действий борца. Причем потери эти борцу не всегда удается компенсировать за счет других атакующих действий, и это приводит, как правило, к снижению его спортивных результатов. В этой связи в тренерской практике возникает задача осуществлять контроль за эффективностью излюбленных атакующих действий. У ведущих спортсменов коэффициент эффективности излюбленного атакующего действия находится в пределах 80-100%. Статистически достоверное снижение этого показателя служит основанием для более глубокого анализа с целью выявления причин столь нежелательного явления и устранения их, восстановления эффективности атак.

Как правило, деавтоматизация атакующих действий борца связана с нарушением первой и второй фаз действия. Снижение эффективности операций, направленных на подготовку удобной ситуации, обусловливает выход временных характеристик фазы подведения собственной опоры под общий центр масс системы двух борцов за рамки оптимальной вариативности и приводит к распаду всего действия. Поскольку причина снижения эффективности действия связана с выходом времени ведущей фазы за рамки оптимальной вариативности, расширение круга операций, направленных на подготовку ситуаций, удобных для проведения конкретного атакующего действия, наряду с целевыми установками на проведение действия в поединках с различными партнерами в разнообразных психических и физических состояниях, позволит разнообразить операционный состав первой фазы, стабилизировать вторую и тем самым препятствовать процессу деавтоматизации всего действия. Практически реализация поставленных задач осуществляется посредством индивидудальной программы совершенствования спортсмена, которая составляется на каждый учебно-тренировочный сбор. Совершенствование спортсмена, утратившего эффективность излюбленного атакующего действия, броска "мельницей" например, условно разбивается на два этапа. Основной целью первого этапа является стабилизировать фазы подготовки удобной ситуации и подведения собственной опоры под общий центр тяжести. Это определяет методическую направленность занятий, которые проводятся три раза в день. На утренней тренировке спортсмену предлагается комплекс имитационных и подводящих упражнений, имеющих целью развитие скоростно-силовых качеств группы мышц, участвующих в проведении конкретного действия, а также совершенствование четкости и быстроты выполнения отдельных фаз действия. Эта же задача решается в подготовительной части занятий на ковре. В основной части занятий на ковре перед спортсменом ставятся две задачи: 1) овладеть всеми имеющимися способами подготовки удобной для проведения конкретного действия ситуации; 2) овладеть на базе разученных способов тактической подготовки различными вариантами проведения атакующего действия. На втором этапе задача совершенствования сводится к дальнейшей стабилизации фазы подведения собственной опоры под общий центр масс системы двух борцов, а также к повышению устойчивости действия борца к сбивающему воздействию утомления, защиты противника и других факторов. Для этого широко применяется метод заданий.

Спортсмену предлагается: 1. Проводить излюбленное атакующее действие в поединках с соперником различного роста и веса.

2. Осуществить излюбленное атакующее действие в ходе учебнотренировочных поединков, проводимых в максимально высоком темпе.

3. Осуществлять излюбленное атакующее действие на фоне прогрессирующего утомления.

4. Проводить совершенствуемое атакующее действие в поединке с соперником, имеющим задание - не дать провести ни одной атаки.

5. Осуществлять излюбленное атакующее действие в поединке с основным конкурентом. Необходимо подчеркнуть, что в ходе второго этапа совершенствования в зависимости от индивидуальных особенностей партнеров перед спортсменом ставится задача проводить излюбленное атакующее действие с тем или иным способом тактической подготовки. Как правило, совершенствование излюбленного атакующего действия по индивидуальной программе принесло эффект после ее применения на одном-трех борцах.

ИНДИВИДУАЛЬНОЕ СОВЕРШЕНСТВОВАНИЕ ТАКТИКИ ВЕДЕНИЯ ПОЕДИНКА Проведенные исследования показали, что тактика ведения поединка остается наиболее слабым звеном в системе подготовки борцов. Вместе с тем было выявлено несколько закономерностей данного процесса, в частности, определено наиболее оптимальное распределение отдельных действий в ходе поединка. На основе исследований и обобщения опыта ведущих специалистов, нами была разработана и апробирована система методических приемов, направленных на индивидуальное совершенствование тактики ведения поединка. Работа должна проводиться в трех направлениях: 1. Борцу для успешного ведения поединка с любым соперником необходимо владеть всеми тактическими операциями. Поэтому первое направление работы сводится к устранению пробелов в подготовке борца и обучению его умению решать все возникающие в поединке задачи. В ходе анализа видеозаписей поединков выявляются операции и действия, которыми слабо владеет конкретный спортсмен. Причем учитывается, в поединке с каким соперником не удалось реализовать то или иное действие. На основе полученных данных составляется программа индивидуального совершенствования тактики ведения

поединка, в которой предусматривается последовательность овладения тем или иным действием.

2. Индивидуализация технико-тактической подготовки борца строится на базе его умения решать все задачи, возникающие в поединке. Смысл ее сводится к тому, что одну и ту же задачу каждый спортсмен решает своим способом, своими техническими приемами. Так, например, даже такую задачу, как удержать преимущество, можно решать либо сковыванием противника, либо комплексным действием, включающим все эти операции. Не говоря уже о действиях атаки, защиты, контратаки, они бесконечно многообразны. Поэтому второе направление учебно-тренировочного процесса тесно связано с первым и сводится к подбору для каждого борца наиболее рациональных способов решения каждой задачи, имеющей место в соревнованиях. Причем, определяя целесообразность того или иного способа, следует исходить из особенностей (психологических, морфофункциональных и др.) самого борца и его основных конкурентов.

3. Направление работы связано с формированием различных алгоритмов* поведения борца в поединке. Практически оно сводится к объединению отдельных действий в целостные комплексы [Р. Петров, И. Алиханов]. Например, провести разведку - добиться преимущества, или добиться преимущества - продемонстрировать активность; добиться преимущества - удержать его; добиться преимущества реализовать опасное положение. Причем каждый раз в зависимости от задачи, поставленной партнеру, менялись и действия, которыми достигалось преимущество (атакой, контратакой, реализацией контролируемого захвата или демонстрацией активности). После того, как спортсмен овладел комплексом из двух операций, ему предлагаются комплексы из трех и более операций. Например, провести разведку - добиться преимущества - продемонстрировать активность или добиться преимущества - восстановить силы увеличить преимущество - удержать его. Окончательно навыки правильного планирования и реализации плана шлифуются в учебно-тренировочных, тренировочных и контрольных поединках, проводимых по соревновательной формуле, а также на подводящих и контрольных соревнованиях. Работа по всем трем направлениям осуществляется при помощи метода заданий и на основе анализа поединков предстоящих соперников и сильнейших борцов мира и проводится в основной части занятии на ковре. В среднем до 50% времени отводится на совершенствование

отдельных действий. Причем над совершенствованием базовых (основных) комбинаций борцы должны работать постоянно. Помимо этого, на каждом занятии борцы совершенствуют еще два-три действия. В недельном микроцикле к каждому действию спортсмены возвращаются на менее трех-четырех раз. Последующие 35-40% времени основной части отводится на совершенствование техникотактических комплексов (алгоритмы). Подбор их осуществляется исходя из практических нужд конкретного борца и наличия соответствующих партнеров. Оставшиеся 10-15% времени основной части занимает совершенствование тактики ведения поединка в целом. Спортсмен совместно с тренером составляет план ведения поединка, причем из всех действий детально конкретизируются лишь связанные с атакой. Работа по индивидуализации технико-тактического мастерства проводится в рамках групповых занятий с двумя-тремя борцами на одного тренера. Важным этапом работы может являться просмотр и анализ видеозаписей поединков основных конкурентов и собственных, проведенных на соревнованиях и тренировках. Делается это до занятий и реже - в ходе их. За две недели до соревнований активно используется метод моделирования действий основных конкурентов.

From a medium standing stance the offensive wrestler's head locks over the opponent's head and shoulder (pictures 1, 2 and 3). Then, after bending him over and turning to the left (pictures 4 and 5) the offensive wrestler continues the action by unlocking the opponent's shoulder and ducking his head under the opponent's body. Maintaining the head lock with his right arm the offensive wrestler locks the opponent's left knee from inside (pictures 6 and 7), turning him over onto his back, with his shoulders pressing the opponent to the mat (picture 8).

Upon securing that lock the offensive wrestler moves quickly towards the opponent and locks his opposite right leg from inside to a single leg lock (picture 4). Thrown off balance the opponent shifts his weight to his supporting left leg (picture 5). Then, the offensive wrestler releases the opponent's right leg and continues leg wrestling (picture 6). Holding the opponent in that position the offensive wrestler uses his right hand for locking the opponent's left leg (picture 7), then swiftly turns him over bringing him to a danger position (picture 8).

At the same time the offensive wrestler drops down to his knee, still holding the opponent's head from above and along the way locking his extended leg (picture 6).

Continuing the action to the front and left the offensive wrestler brings his opponent into a danger position by throwing him to the mat (picture 8).

Clasping his hands around the opponent's neck and pulling him down the offensive wrestler steps backwards (pictures 1, 2 and 3). When the opponent attempts to take his original position the offensive wrestler thrusts his right leg forward and pushing up locks the opponent's right hip and shoulder (picture 4).

He then forcibly straightens up lifting his opponent. His body and legs are in a horizontal position (pictures 5 and 6), in order to prevent the opponent from performing any lock with his legs. Next, he quickly comes down on his right knee and driving forward with his shoulders throws the opponent to the mat (pictures 7 and 8).

Standing up and still holding the opponent's hip the offensive wrestler then grasps the opponent's body with his left arm and then locks his opponent's leg from inside (picture 6). Upon locking the opponent's upper arm and right hip the offensive wrestler vigorously throws backward, bringing his opponent into a danger position and maintains him in that position by pressing him against the mat with his shoulders (pictures 6, 7 and 8).

Immediately reacting to this action, by placing his arm over the opponent's, arm the offensive wrestler (picture 3) locks his opponent's right arm and forces him to step forward (picture 4). Persuing this action the offensive wrestler quickly underhooks his opponent's left arm and body. Stepping forward with his left leg, from the outside, the offensive wrestler hooks his opponent's left leg (picture 5).

Continuing the action the offensive wrestler comes down front and left, throwing his opponent to the mat and bringing him into a danger position (pictures 6, 7 and 8).

The countering wrestler tightly presses the opponent against his own chest, turns him over with a backward bridge and quickly turns the opponent over (pictures 4, 5, 6 and 7).

The technical action of the countering wrestler takes place after his opponent's attack resulting in a single leg hold with and inside head position (pictures 1 and 2). Then, the countering wrestler locks around his opponent's body close to the shoulders, pressing the opponent's back against his own chest (pictures 3 and 4).

After having performed this hold the countering wrestler throws backward lifting his opponent off the mat (picture 5). During the execution of that action (lifting off the mat) the countering wrestler, without releasing the hold, changes the direction of his attack and leans one hand against the mat (picture 6) turning the opponent, thus placing him in a danger position and continuing to hold him in that position with leg grappling (picture 8).

One of the wrestlers initiates an offensive action when he places his left hand on his opponent's shoulder (picture 1). The opponent reacts. In order to prevent this action the defensive wrestler locks his opponent's left forearm and shoulder (pictures 2 and 3). Continuing the action the defensive wrestler quickly gets in close to his opponent and with his right leg grapevines the opponent's leg, becoming the offensive wrestler (picture 4). As soon as the offensive wrestler executes this action which will lead to a backward throw with a grapevine, the defensive wrestler initiates a counter-attack by quickly clasping his hands around the offensive wrestler's body executing a front body lock (picture 5). At the same time the countering wrestler lifts his grapevined leg from the mat, with a forcefull back throw turns left (picture 7), with his shoulders throwing his opponent to the mat (picture 8).

Upon performing these actions the offensive wrestler attempts to put his opponent flat on the mat by pulling his opponent's feet and pressing his knees backwards (picture 3). In defense, the opponent reacts by posting his left hand on the mat (picture 4). Upon that the offensive wrestler slips his right arm under the opponent's left shoulder (pictures 5 and 6) pressing him with his chest and pulling his locked arm. Then leaning on his left leg and pushing laterally and forward the offensive wrestler turns his opponent with his back on the mat (pictures 7 and 8).

On the mat, behind his opponent, the offensive wrestler locks his opponent's arm with both hands (pictures 1 and 2). The offensive wrestler then straightens up and grapevines the opponent's right leg with his right leg (pictures 3 and 4).

Continuing he pulls his opponent with increasing force. Then he slips his right arm under the opponent's left arm. Falling laterally and backwards the offensive wresler uses most of his body weight turning his opponent into a danger position and holds him in that position (pictures 5, 6, 7 and 8).

Offensive wrestling begins on the mat. The offensive wrestler, simultaneously, with his right arm, locks the ankle and with his left arm laterally holds the opponent's shoulder. He then continues by straightening him with his arm (pictures 1, 2 and 3). As soon as the opponent initiates a defensive move attempting to go to his stomach (picture 4) the offensive wrestler quickly locks hir right arm from under the arm pit and vines his right leg (pictures 5 and 6). Extending his body the offensive wrestler straightens the opponent turning him to his left hip and placing him into a danger position (pictures 7 and 8).

Then, still holding the opponent's bent left leg the offensive wrestler locks it with a leg scissor (picture 4). Continuing to hold his opponent with his stomach against the mat and by locking his neck (pictures 5 and 6) and extendign his own hip the offensive wrestler moves to the opposite side of his opponent, thus placing him into a danger position and holding him in that position (pictures 7 and 8).

The opponent, initiating a defensive action, attempts to get to the top position by sit-out (pictures 3 and 4). Taking advantage of his opponent's action the offensive wrestler grasps his opponent's chin with his left hand (picture 5). Then, supporting himself on his right hand which is extended backwards (picture 6) he quickly moves laterally and to the left. The offensive wrestler puts his opponents into a danger position (pictures 7 and 8).

With his right hand the offensive wrestler locks his opponent's upper arm at the elbow, and with his left arm tightwaists the opponent's body (pictures 1 and 2).

The offensive wrestler then comes down to his hip, pulling his opponent, attempting to roll him sideways (picture 3). When the defensive wrestler attempts to return to the original position the offensive wrestler, taking advantage of his action, moves over him to the opposite side and with his right leg vines the opponent's leg on the same side from outside, trying to turn him over to his back (pictures 3 and 4). Taking advantage of the opponent's defensive action the offensive wrestler quickly returns to the previous side and crotch holds the opponent's left hip.

Lifting and throwing backwards he turns him over to his back (pictures 7 and 8).

The opponent reacts by a defensive action aimed at the prevetion of that hold (picture 5). Responding to this action the offensive wrestler quickly locks his opponent's shoulder and hip from inside (picture 6) and, by rolling him over to the right, holds him in a danger position (pictures 7 and 8).

Actually faking this action, the offensive wrestler allows his opponent to return to the original position (picture 4). As soon as the opponent takes the original position, the offensive wrestler, with his right arm overshooks his right shoulder and arm (picture 5). He then lifts him up with his leg vine and pelvis force, quickly turning him over with his back on the mat (pictures 6, 7 and 8).
