Why a red cross?

It represents God’s forgiveness when he was hung on the cross and shed blood for us.

And during the Penetest season, the blood is also acknoledged as God’s holy spirits and symbol of our rependence.

Why mountains?

It represents the hardships that people have to over come when they are faced with one.

Personally, whenever I have these hardships I’ve leaned towards praying to God and asking prayer to my fellow brothers and sisters at church.

It’s a remarkable experience and indescribable, and I wanted to show how I’ve overcame these hardships throughout my life through this artwork.

Maybe having various bumps and heights will represent how different and how hard these hardships were to me in the past.

Why cathedral patterns?

It is a symbol of the creation of church and has a long history for several decades.

I’ve wanted to liquidify this history into my artwork to make my own patterns and give it’s own meaning on how I view about many things going on in my life.
