DISCIPLES OF JESUS M INISTRIES 2022

NOVEMBER 30 DAY PRAYER FOCUS

Prayer Calendar for November When things don’t go the way we think they should, it is all too easy to grumble and complain. But God, who knows the end from the beginning, always has our best interests in mind. He makes all things work together for our good (Romans 8:28). That is why, in all situations, in all seasons, He deserves our heartfelt gratitude, thanksgiving, and praise.

Nov 1. Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts. -Colossians 3:16 When we deeply understand what Christ Jesus has done for us we have no other option but to respond with gratefulness from our hearts.

Nov 2. Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 We can choose thankfulness no matter what we are going through. Our spiritual blessings far outweigh any earthly sorrows we encounter in this life. Nov 3. Every good gift and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. -James 1:17 Understanding God only gives good gifts and is the Father of light frames our attitude in thankfulness.

Nov 4. Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. -Colossians 3:15 Peace and thanksgiving are intertwined together. The peace of God produces a grateful heart which in turn brings more peace despite our circumstances.

Nov 10. I will give thanks to you, Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonderful deeds. -Psalm 9:1 Let all of you–your whole heart–engage in gratitude to God. Nov 11. Nov 12. And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. -Colossians 3:17 Every move we make should be made in Jesus name and with thanks to God. Yes, even folding laundry and taking out the trash. Even boring days and hard times allow for tiny moments of thanksgiving. Nov 13. Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of thanksgiving the fruit of lips that openly profess his name. -Hebrews 13:5 Our thankfulness is a sacrifice and praise we can only offer God because of what Jesus did on the cross. Nov 14. Always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. -Ephesians 5:20 Always, for everything doesn’t leave much room for ungratefulness. There is always always something to be thankful for even in hard circumstances.
