CITYSCAPES

On these pages I compare how the modern cityscape contrasts with the countrside lanscape - a scenery more associated with historical times pre-industial revolution. It was imperative to capture the difference in texture and form; a progression in media.

I juxtaposed my realistic imagery with collages that are enirely Supremacist and thus focus and texture and composition. I feel this helps to balance the forms on the page more effectively.

On these pages Ireference images tht are aembmetic of their periodsin history. I them manipulated these historical forms with simple geometric shapes and warped various parts of the composition. I wanted to reflect the philosophies rooted in Suprematism.
