The purchase of “Corella” located west of Manilla NSW will help us focus on our high performance black Simmental herd while incorporating more high performing Angus genetics into our breeding program. With a new location we have rebranded to Mala-Daki Livestock. Stepping away from the show ring in 2022 has allowed us to take a more commercial approach to breeding focussing on a line of sale bulls which incorporates Angus sires to increase hybrid vigour and uniformity.
Family operated Lucky Clover Simmentals and JN Cattle Co will again be offering lots in the 2024 sale.
The selling platform in 2024 will be a Helmsman auction as a buyer friendly option.

All sale bulls are structurally sound, with excellent carcase and temperament. All sale lots have been DNA tested and qualify as “Immune Ready” giving peace of mind for the health of your purchase.

Take the Rangari Road for 8.5 km and turn left into Corella Road.
Follow for 16.5 km and ‘Corella’ is directly ahead on the left hand bend after Kirks Lane.

From the intersection of Kelvin and Rangari Roads, drive east along Rangari Road for 12km, turn right into Glenara Park Road, drive for 2 km then turn left to continue on Glenara Park Road for another 3.3 km.
Turn right into Corella Road and drive 4.2 km to arrive at ‘Corella’.
INSPECTIONS
Inspections are welcome prior to the sale by arrangement with the vendors or agents. All lots will be penned by 10:00 am sale day.
SALE DAY CATERING
Refreshments, including lunch, will be available on sale day.
HEALTH
Females are unjoined and will be vet checked prior to the sale to confirm they are reproductively sound. Bulls will be semen tested to confirm their reproductive status.
The sale animals are “Immune Ready” and the herd has a Johne’s Beef Assurance Score (JBAS) of 6.

RAW DATA
All bulls will be weighed and then scanned by Bovine Scanning Services prior to the sale for eye muscle area (EMA), rump fat, rib fat and IMF. Supplementary information will be available at www. maladakisimmentals.com and on social media prior to sale day.
6 MONTH GUARANTEE
All sale animals have been evaluated for structural soundness and fertility. To the best of our knowledge the bulls are in sound working order and females are reproductively sound at the time of the sale. Any claim against the breeding ability or a structural breakdown of any animal must be made in writing and accompanied by a Veterinary Certificate within six months of the sale date. Any animal veterinary certified may be either replaced with an animal of similar value (if available) or credit made available to the value of the purchase price, minus salvage value, as a refund. The purchaser will be responsible for any veterinary and other costs incurred.
DELIVERY
Transport is to be arranged by the purchaser in consultation with Elders and/or Davidson Cameron & Co. Animals waiting delivery or pickup will be held free of charge for up to 7 days after the sale, unless prior arrangements are made.
All care will be taken, but absolutely no responsibility will be accepted for any injury or loss occasioned during, as a consequence of, or in relation to any holding.
TRANSFER OF REGISTRATION
All sale animals registered with Simmental Australia may be transferred to your ownership on request and at your cost.

OUTSIDE AGENT REBATE
A 2% rebate will be offered to outside agents with written introduction received 48 hours prior to the sale and/or if the agent accompanies the purchaser to the sale and settles on their behalf within 7 days of the sale.

INSURANCE
Ownership passes at the conclusion of the sale and it is recommended all cattle be insured.
SALE DAY SAFETY
All sale bulls and females have been screened for temperament and are quiet to handle under normal circumstances. There are, however, risks associated with cattle handling. Visitors enter the cattle pens at their own risk and children must not enter pens.
POLL/HORN STATUS & COAT COLOUR TESTING
All bulls and heifers have been DNA tested for parentage, poll status and coat colour.
Results will be available closer to sale day and will be posted on our website and social media.

EPD INFORMATION
With the introduction of the IGS performance recording system for Simmental cattle, IGS is the world’s largest animal performance recording system.
One of the major changes is the breeding figures being reported as Estimate Progeny Differences (EPDs), rather than Estimated Breeding Values (EBVs). The difference between the two is simple.
Effectively, an EBV is an animal’s own genetic value for a particular trait. However, the animal can only pass half of this onto their progeny. EPDs have the “half” already accounted for. That is, an EPD is the genetic merit of an animal’s progeny – what they will pass onto their progeny.
IGS can incorporate an animal’s genomics into its performance data. All animals in the Simmental Opportunity sale have been 100K GGP-LD DNA profiled.
