Wild Family Workshops: Sounds of Music
August 21 9 a.m.–12 p.m. Ages 4 & up
Explore music with the sounds of the Zoo. You may have heard our lion roar, but have you heard our warthogs chant or our southern screamers, well, scream? Not only will we hear our animal friends, but they will hear us too. As we walk through the Zoo, we will be joined by a musician who will play music for our animals. We will discover how animals react to diverse types of music, meet some of our musical animal ambassadors, and make an instrument for you to play your own music around the Zoo and at home.
