As a member-owner of Jackson EMC, you’re part of a notfor-profit cooperative that puts you first. Every decision we make is guided by one simple goal: delivering safe, reliable and affordable electricity while keeping your costs as low as possible. Because the power belongs to you, we focus on making wise investments, operating efficiently and providing the value you deserve. Our cooperative continues to grow as more people choose Northeast Georgia as home. This year, Jackson EMC serves more than 277,000 meters – an increase of more than 72,000 over the past decade. Even as our communities grow, our commitment remains the same. We’re dedicated to providing you with dependable service, super-personalized care and some of the lowest electric rates in Georgia.
Your membership also strengthens the communities we call home. Through the Jackson EMC Foundation, made possible by members who participate in Operation Round Up, more than $23 million has been awarded to local nonprofits since 2005. Thank you for your trust and confidence in your electric cooperative! We're honored to serve you and remain committed to providing reliable service, keeping costs low and focusing on what matters most — you. Sincerely,

One of the greatest benefits of cooperative membership is affordable electricity. Jackson EMC members save over $242 annually compared with the average of other Georgia electric utilities. We also continue to return value directly to you. This year, we’re returning $16 million in member refunds to eligible members, bringing the total to $252 million since the cooperative was founded in 1938.

INGREDIENTS: 2 lbs. ground beef 1 box Stove Top Stuffing Mix (any variety) 2 eggs 1/2 cup chopped onion 1 cup tomato juice or sauce (If the stuffing mix has a seasoning packet, use half.)
DIRECTIONS: Mix all ingredients together. Place in a loaf pan. Pack mixture down on all sides and build it up in the center, like a loaf of bread. This allows the oil to run to the sides. Cook in a 350-degree oven for one hour. Let stand 15 minutes before serving.
"I wanted to make a meatloaf one day and I didn’t have any bread crumbs. I decided to swap it for Stove Top dressing, which I had in my pantry. This way, you don’t have to put in any seasonings. I kept making it this way because my family loved it and it’s so easy to make.” -WILLI TOMLIN, Commerce SEND US YOUR BEST RECIPES: RECIPES@JACKSONEMC.COM OR MAIL TO: COOPERATIVE COOKING | JACKSON EMC | PO BOX 38 | JEFFERSON, GA 30549 FIND RECIPES AT JACKSONEMC.COM/RECIPES.
