From her speech: Now the time has come for us to ponder on what comes next. Our future is up to each one of us. We choose whether we want to take the easy path or the difficult one. ... At St. Aloysius High School, we learn the foundation. It is up to us to build upon those roots in college. As students ride the high school portion of the roller coaster, we sometimes lose sight of the big picture – our happiness and future. It is imperative that we understand the lessons we learned here will guide us to success. ... Some of the most important things we learned in high school were things we did not even learn in the classroom, such as the knowledge of patience, loyalty, honesty, and even cheese touch. Truthfully, the most crucial part of education comes next. It doesn't just end here today.

Favorite service project: My favorite service project is the United Way trunk or treat. Around Halloween, volunteers get to set up booths or cars with Halloween decorations on them and hand out candy to children in the community. Getting to put a smile on the kids' faces is the best feeling. It reminds me the importance of service and kindness.
