We were so inspired, many of us have continued our habits even though the official event has ended. Some of our newest moms attended their first Georgia Supercluster. They got a chance to make some new sister mom friends and showed off their line dancing moves.

Birmingham On Saturday, March 19, 2022, The Birmingham Satellites took part in learning "The Game of Golf." Mr. Brandon Mason, also known as BMason, is the owner of 3BM Golf Studio. Mr. Mason and his Assistant Coach Ike ensured that the Satellites were greeted with enthusiasm. B Mason's main focus with 3BM is to create an inviting, friendly, and boutique-style atmosphere. Having an environment with such characteristics fosters positive communication and collaboration, which golfers need to have a successful outcome.
Through his successful development, he taught the kids to use a golf simulator to help them practice and play a virtual round of golf. After learning to play and swing a golf club safely, the age group competed in a contest to see who could hit the golf ball the farthest. The Satellites listened carefully and were eager to learn and engage throughout the activity. They all had an opportunity to practice and hit a hole in one. GNAC Offers Comfort to WellStar North Fulton Hospital
Dr. Shelley Dunson-Allen, the first woman and first African-American to be named Chief of Staff at WellStar North Fulton Hospital, and very active GNAC mom, truly has a heart for the patients in her hospital and as such has enlisted the help of her Greater North Atlanta chapter to spearhead some important programs. Our latest is the creation of Perinatal Loss Memorial boxes. While the birth of a baby is generally celebrated, there are - at times - devastating losses, and at those difficult times, the Perinatal Loss Memorial boxes will be offered to grieving mothers. The packages, which contain a plush robe, memorial candle and a journal, are intended to offer some comfort and provide an emotional outlet for the mother’s grief.
We are proud to announce that Greater North Atlanta donated 50 boxes to WellStar North Fulton Hospital. Chapter President Kelly Johnson, Service Chair LaTres Bell, Associate Chair Rose Carter and Associate Jewels Kim Green and Renada Ogrezek delivered the boxes and received tremendous thanks from the staff. Delivering the boxes was, truly, a deeply emotional and gratifying time for the moms. During the presentation they had an opportunity to hear first-hand from the hospital administrators, doctors, and staff members just how helpful and impactful these boxes will be.

SER’s Mother Chapter celebrates their 75th Anniversary
The year was 1947. Responding to civil rights advocates, President Harry S. Truman established the President’s Committee on Civil Rights, which included the enforcement of federal anti-lynching laws and desegregation. This was the political climate of a nation in which black children were challenged to navigate with the help of their resilient parents, particularly, mothers. In Nashville, in 1947, Jim Crow laws requiring public, railroad and educational segregation, were in full effect.
During the month of April 1947, a group of resilient mothers formed a study group which would become known as the Nashville Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Incorporated, the first chapter chartered in the Southeastern Region and the twelfth chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. These 23 resilient mothers designed a program of culture, service, and learning for the betterment of their children and the community in an effort to create a nurturing and educational environment for their children living in turbulence of the Jim Crow south. ...continued
