3. Make security a top priority Security must be critical always. It doesn’t matter whether the cloud migration is big or small, cloud security is always a priority. If you follow a multilayer approach, it will incorporate security at all levels, i.e. network, user, application and service. It will make you system secure from all kinds of threats, data breaches and vulnerabilities.

4. Don’t forget the people Often enterprises think that cloud migration is only about the IT infrastructure. It includes a transformation in day-to-day activities and processes, and most importantly people. Employees must undertake an ownership and feel involved in the cloud migration process. They must be made aware of the benefits and changes that they can expect with the migration.
