My passion as a photographer started when I was 17, I have tried for it to become my profession, not only hobby This was not easy as I had no professional equipment and I believed that I found a job in another industry but still used photography as my habby Everything has changed in 2020 I have lost my job and have been left with a huge debt. For the next 4 years I have decided to change my life

PHOTOGRAPHY

Levente Toth

I caught the photography "virus" during my childhood in Transylvania, courtesy of a fully manual camera that was my 13th birthday present I settled in the UK during my PhD studies, but my main fascination remained the juxtaposition of, and the contrasts between, seemingly everlasting historic places and their ephemeral inhabitants

Thus, my photographic journeys have taken me to numerous medieval towns, but also to timeless landscapes. .

Melvin Bellinger II

It is a funny thing, trying to describe me Because as much as I have to say, I don’t really have anything to say. It’s already clear that I’m an artist. It’s already clear that I’m a painter. I do have a college background I attended and graduated from Pratt Institute many years ago, and that experience has its place The time in between was a crash course in how to forget who I was and where I came from, so I can mind who I am and where I’m going Hence, what matters most to me now, is how I live today – what choices I make, today

While I do more than just paint, it is the ability to express through painting what I cannot otherwise articulate, which has made it my foremost modality of visual communication Beyond the personal and monetary need to share this expression, I would not bother to show anyone at all, being just fine with those who happen upon my work by chance However, visual art is a language which extends from and speaks to what we understand to be the soul It is not a language to be muted or withheld. I am therefore compelled to share. If there is any need for a description of what motivates me, I suppose that is it

In the artist’s work they delve into the intricate terrain of mental health, employing mixed media as their artistic language to convey the profound and often elusive aspects of this universal human experience The creations serve as a visual narrative, weaving together the threads of emotion process technique, and mystery, aiming to foster a deeper understanding of the complexities that lie beneath the surface of our minds

Xingrui Xu

There are multiple sides to things, and I like to flatten those sides and put them on the same plane I think it's a technique of "blurring" it's a behavior or an action My artistic practice is constantly evolving around this technique I like to blur the boundaries between different cultures, intervene in iconic symbols, and show a mixture of tradition and antitradition in my works. I also try to set up some barriers to the normal way of thinking in my work
