ABOUT JOSHUA SHIELDS

Hello, my name is Joshua Shields. I was born and raised in Winston-Salem, NC and still have a residence there. Currently I am a graduate student at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte pursuing my long time dream of becoming an architect. I’ve been on this architectectural journey since the 8th grade when my art teacher suggested the profession to me. I’ve been on the road of becoming an architect since that day. I attended Hampton University for a year and a half before I transferred to Appalachian State University to complete and earn my Bachelor Degree in Architectural Technology.

Now I’m on pace to receive my Masters Degree here at Charlotte and to continue on my journey of becoming a successful architect.
