A home should feel comfortable, cozy, and welcoming, and filled with good vibes. However, it’s normal for a home’s appeal to become stale over time. The paint on the walls becomes a bit chipped. Furniture starts falling apart. Floors and sheets get dirty. Since we’re halfway through spring, now is the right time to do some spring cleaning.

Here are five ways to help make your home look brand new again:

One of the simplest ways to make your home look brand new again is by changing your pillowcases. Switch them up by getting new ones that will express the personality of your home. Try bold color covers to make your living room or bedroom standout. Experiment with illustrations or inspirational quotes that will make you and your guests feel happy.

Give your home a major facelift with a wall tapestry. These lightweight, intricate pieces add a more bohemian flair to your home.

Find one that fits your style, whether it be a simplistic nature scene or a geometric design.

Consider adding one or two plants into your space. If you don’t have a lot of space, you can try smaller plants like succulents.

It can be a lot to deal with, especially if you have combination skin and curly hair. But, the stress of creating and maintaining a good routine for the winter won’t last forever. In fact, as we transition into spring, it will be time to change things up a bit.

With the warm and sunny weather approaching, you will want to take some steps to help your skin and hair adjust to the new weather patterns. That being said, now is the time for you to bring your skin and hair out of that winter hibernation. Making the appropriate adjustments to your routine will help to ensure that you look good and feel good about the state of your hair and skin.

Exfoliate For A Fresher Look

Having dry skin is not the move for the new spring season.

We all need that in our lives.

So, what can you do if the stars don’t align for a major excursion? Take some real “me-time” and plan an amazing staycation tailored just for you!

Not convinced? Well, we have a bunch of fabulous ideas for making the most of your own home and area. Because you live in your town, you probably do very little “touristy” type of stuff. So, chances are, you’re missing some of the really cool, and possibly the most interesting places and activities that your town or city has to offer. There is always something funky in an area, but the locals often don’t even know it’s there!

You don’t need tons of cash or a jet to have a fantastic and enjoyable staycation. Try getting your respite on by indulging in a few of these ideas for the ultimate staycation: Discover New Eats Or Off The Beaten Path Activities In Your Area Explore your area’s funkiest food stops.

Choose a restaurant or food truck that you’ve never eaten at before, and dig in!

Get A Massage At Home When we think relaxation, we often think “spa”. Yes, spas are nice. But, they are not necessary for getting the spa experience. Ask for a referral from friends and have a masseuse come to your home. Imagine not having to drive or deal with other people before having a relaxation session.

Hook Yourself Up With A New Hobby Finding ways to relax without having to get on a boat or plane is important for our overall wellbeing. Consider learning or taking on a new hobby. When you seek out hobbies, you really want to find one that allows you to be self-expressive, that allows you to really destress, and one that you have an

actual interest in pursuing. Hobbies should be about what you want to do with your down time.

Another awesome thing about hobbies is that you can sometimes do them in conjunction with other activities for a really fun time. For example, some may like crocheting. See What You Want We often go to movies or events with others. Well, do it by yourself! Yes. It’s only natural that we come to a consensus with those who matter in our lives when it comes to our entertainment.

Another way to really max out your me time is to bring it back to the house. Set up time to binge-watch all of the things that you have either been meaning to see or that you haven’t had time to follow. It can be a series or a bunch of movies, or even a slew of musicals. But, this becomes a more luxurious staycation when you order in gourmet meals and snacks, or your favorite drinks, to make the evening absolutely fabulous, Honey! Yes, you can do so inside your Brown Sugar Box account on izzyandliv.com, or you can email us at support@izzyandliv.com to update your preferences for you.

When will I be billed for next month’s box?

You will be rebilled on the 25th of the month prior to the next box. So you will be billed for the January box on the 25th of December; for the Februry box on the 25th of January and so on... You will not be billed for the next box until after the box from the current month has been shipped/delivered.

What is your cancellation policy?

Your subscription can be cancelled at any time in your Brown Sugar Box Account Settings at izzyandliv.com. If you’ve already been billed for the next box (25th of the month), your cancellation will take affect the next billing cycle. To cancel your subscription, login to your account and click on the Subscription tab, then click “edit” next to your subscription. You can also email us to request that we cancel for you.

Can I exchange or return items in my box?

We cannot accept returns at this time for Brown Sugar Box items, but we welcome your feedback to improve. Email us at support@ izzyandliv.com to share your thoughts. We value your feedback and our mission is to make every Brown Sugar Box more than worth your while! Your feedback will help us to make sure we make this box amazing and valuable as it can be.

As far as the item(s), you can always gift them to a friend, coworker, or family member- these items make GREAT gifts!

Can I skip a month without cancelling?

Yes, you can skip a future month delivery and not be billed for it, without having to cancel your entire subscription. Once logged into your Brown Sugar Box account at izzyandliv. com, you will need to open the “Delivery Schedule” tab. There you will see all upcoming deliveries for your subscription. To skip a delivery you just need to click “Skip” to the right of each relevant delivery.

This will only skip that one delivery. To skip multiple deliveries you will need to click “Skip” next to each relevant one. Alternatively, you can email to have us skip deliveries for you.

How can I share photos or unboxing videos with you?

Yes! We live for customer feedback & reviews! Just post your pics or video on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Youtube etc. and hashtag #brownsugarbox, #izzyandliv and @ izzyandliv. You can also leave a photo review on the Brown Sugar Subscription page! If you make a blog post email us with the link. If your social media is private we will not be able to see your post, so feel free to email us to let us know where to check it out!

Something went wrong with my order/ delivery what should I do?

Should you have an issue with your box items (damage, received wrong size, etc) you must notify us at support@izzyandliv. com, with photo(s), within 7 days of receipt of your package. After 7 days, we will not be able to process requests related to this month’s box.
