Youth Work Ireland Galway were part of the organising committee of the “Loving Galway” sustainability festival. The event was held on the 27th September with a Youth summit on Zero Waste, and other fantastic activities. Young people from our LGBTI+ group took part in Galway Pride Parade again this year. Young people from any of our youth projects and affiliated clubs from 13-21 yrs old, youth leaders and workers were welcome to join us regardless of sexual orientation or identity! Allies play an important role. We met at our office on Prospect Hill, then joined the parade and back to our office for some pizza afterwards.
