Things to Know While Choosing Surrogacy Agency Surrogacy - Just One More Good Option Surrogacy is an alternative method of reproduction that is used by couples when there is infertility. Another reason could be that a woman, although fertile, does not want to become a mother. Surrogacy is when a woman agrees that she will have her child for someone else. The woman can either be contacted by a legally authorized surrogacy agency or directly. The majority of cases involve the couple agreeing to cover all costs related to the birth. Surrogacy can be divided into several types. The first is direct surrogacy, where a biological mom agrees to give her child to a couple for money. In this scenario, the surrogate mom must surrender all rights to the child. Gestational surrogacy is the case type. In this case, the surrogate cares for the embryo that was transferred from her womb. In this scenario, the surrogate is not the mother to the child to come. The third type is altruistic, in which the surrogate is not paid for the child's birth. In this scenario, the intended parents are responsible for paying the hospital costs and medical bills. The commercial type is the last kind of surrogacy. The surrogate will carry the child on behalf of the engaged couple or single parent in return for a financial bonus.
