In no way do I compare myself to the text on page 2, it is however, one of the most inspiring quotes I ever read. The ultimate magician treats everybody respectfully, and he adjusts himself to their individual personality; their uniqueness inspires him!

He adapts with pleasure, seeing himself in whoever he encounters, learning, learning, learning...

The text by Eliphas Levi explains some of the ideals I believe the people of Japan look up too, collectivly. I have tremendous admiration for Japanese culture, an enormous wish to learn their ability to cooperate with eachother, and inspired beyond belief by so many Japanese inventions, people, nature, art, comics, anime...

I am truly grateful for the oppurtunity I had to explore and experience this ancient and diverse country.

To my new friends, may we meet again...

This book shows my travelroute during a three week journey to Japan, early summer, 2013.

When you arrive at your dream destination, where do you go?

My goals were to learn and absorb, I had no further plans than that, except a plane ticket to Okinawa and an unlimited rail-way pass.

This was a golden oppurtunity, an inexplicable feeling, a luxurious privlige, and I have never felt so lucky or free.

Going here was a dream come true, but overwhelmed by having absolutly everything ever invented available, I found myself wandering the streets, gazing dreamingly at everything and nothing.

This was a treasure hunt where the whole map was the X: a pleasure hunt.
