Gabe graduated with his B.S. in Informatics, and as an applied intelligence consultant at Accenture, he leads multinational teams to engineer and maintain cloud data pipelines, business intelligence applications, and data science platforms.

MEET MERCEDES

Mercedes majored in intelligent systems engineering with a bioengineering concentration. She is currently an IT analyst at Medtronic where she is helping to implement application programming interfaces and Amazon Web Services for medical device data as well as working on an AI platform strategy.

MEET SHAYAN

Shayan received his B.S. in Computer Science. He is currently a software development engineer at Amazon, but he spent his time as a student prototyping a Bluetooth-enabled sleeve worn on the knee that uses a mobile app to provide real-time feedback on the squat performances of athletes in group exercise settings.

MEET KATH

The first graduate of our Cybersecurity and Global Policy program in 2021, Kath interned at Atlantic Council. Currently a solutions engineer at Deloitte, she drives strategy and manages the development of technology and security solutions for clients.

LIVE AND LEARN

LIVING LEARNING CENTER

The Luddy Living Learning Center is the ideal place for first-year students to live and interact with other students pursuing degrees at Luddy. Students in this community form lasting relationships and enhance their leadership skills. Increased opportunities for mentoring, interacting with faculty, and networking with employers help smooth the transition into collegiate life and give you a head start on your future.

Your year in the Luddy LLC will include:

• Access to a network of faculty, advisors, tutors, and mentors

• Trips to visit Silicon Valley or Austin employers such as Apple, GM, Google, and LinkedIn during spring break

• “Dish and Dines,” where you eat dinner with leaders in the technology field and learn about their companies

• Career preparation events like resume reviews and mock projects

• A weekly course that covers professional development, cultural awareness, and more

• A makerspace with prototyping equipment just for Luddy LLC students
