An Alexander Teacher is trained to place their hands on your body where specific muscle groups cross, to promote the lengthening and widening of tightened and shortened muscles. isit this 17th Century Great House in the hills of St Ann’s Jamaica and experience the exclusive luxury of this idyllic setting. This property is situated on a water line therefore has healing energies for those who enter. Sarah and Graham Lucas bought the Geddes Great House in 2012, after coming back from London to Jamaica as a returnee. After the sudden death of her husband of 42 years Sarah plummeted into depression and wanted to give up the Great House.

She had also encountered illness which she suffered before returning to Jamaica and she felt as though her whole life was destroyed. She was losing hope of overcoming her illness and regaining her strength to cope with the loss of her lifetime partner. Sarah soon started to realise that mysteriously her aches and pains were subsiding and she was slowly beginning to feel as though there was life beyond her depression.

Sarah discovered that the Geddes Great House was built on a water line therefore the healing properties where the house is situated were enormous. She also discovered that every month depending on the time of year and planetary alignment, that the full moon would position itself directly in the centre of the iconic 17th Century mounted wall circle in the Fountain Garden. She also discovered that by the pool area were embedded the twelve signs of the zodiac within the floor which the moon highlights individually during it’s planetary journey.

These mystical occurrences were proving that the healing energies of the Geddes Great House were totally authentic, especially as Sarah was healing at a rapid rate.

Sarah soon found herself with the incentive to carry on and ploughed her heart and soul into restoring the dilapidated Geddes Great House to the wonderful state, with the luxurious features that we see today.

After Matt proposed and a summer wedding date was set, Victoria planned how much time she had to perfect her walk down the aisle. riya was a woman ALL about comfort. Being tall anyway, she had no real need to wear high heels apart from at weddings, funerals and job interviews. With her wedding day approaching, she grew more and more nervous as she’d invested in a pair of killer designer heels and was keen to show them off ALL day and ALL night.

Having completed a 12 week course where she slowly graduated from flats to kitten heels to skyscraper stilettos, Priya meticulously completed the “homework” exercises until she found she was able to wear heels for longer periods each time. Her main concern of not being able to endure her killer heels throughout the festivities were laid to rest (along with her back up pair of flip flops!)
