Your Questions

Q Who will be collating, desiging and producing the magazine? A The company producing the love story is called It’s My Magazine see or @ ItsMyMagazine on Instagram to find out more. Q What if I don’t like the way the magazine is produced? A The magazine will work to your design brief to produce your love story in a style that reflects you as a wedding couple whether you are traditional, quirky or contemporary. You will also have the final say before the magazine goes to print. The organiser of the Sunninghill Wedding Fair 26th May 2019 will accept no liability for the prize once the winner has been introduced to the magazine provider.

Needless to say, life, university and parties got in the way and she passed away rather suddenly. As a result, a lot of our family history was lost. I resolved that there must be a way to preserve stories and pictures in a comprehensive yet affordable way, which wasn’t just the exclusive domain of celebrities. This saw the birth of the It’s My Life series, capturing history whilst the elders were still around to contribute and enjoy it. Utilising our backgrounds in design, photography, and journalism, it was just a natural fit. We’re now in talks with a care home in SE England to capture the stories of their dementia sufferers before the memories fade. We then spotted a need within the wedding industry, as a lot of couples spend a lot on details that are missed in conventional albums, so we gathered a talented team of professional magazine designers and copy writers, started exhibiting at wedding fairs and the rest as they say, is history!

The Love Story

From Bob Marley to Britain, this mother and daughter duo decided to change the wedding game, allowing brides to experience a new and innovative idea taking the industry by storm

i, we’re Pauline and Krystle and we are a mother and daughter business busy capturing time and love stories. My great grandmother was best friends with Bob Marley’s mum and had many amazing stories about him as a little boy growing up that were so interesting.

One particular favourite being that he could apparently read palms very well, so accurately in fact, that at age five, he predicted his own death and was so scared, he never did it again. That coupled with her being one of the few Jamaican women to run her own store before coming to Britain, I was determined to write her fascinating life story.

Our vision is to continue to transform your stories into art, capturing life and love stories, one family at a time. Working with Sunninghill is very exciting!

We were shortlisted by the British Council as being amongst the UK’s top three most innovative new companies, so we foresee great things ahead as everyone loves our unique idea. We’re a family business aimed at capturing love stories, one family at a time, so when Jacky approached us about offering Sunninghill couples a chance to capture their wonderful weddings, we jumped at the opportunity as we could already imagine this stunning venue within our beautifully designed pages. So we wish every reader the best of luck, we truly look forward to skilfully transferring your love story into print! Our vision is to continue to transform your stories into art, and we’re grateful you’ve shared them with us. We hope you’ve enjoyed our story.

How to Win

So, do you think your love story deserves its very own heirloom magazine and are ready to try something different...?

DRESSING Summer 2015itsmymagazine. |

Sustainable weddings are now a priority to many couples eager to do their part to help the environment however they can

his year Sunninghill Weddings venue in Dorchester has radically redesigned the venue’s wedding décor. Heavily influenced by our clients concerns for the environment and sustainability we have implemented the following changes: • Embraced the Flowers From The Field approach to our floral wedding decoration by using locally grown, pesticide free, seasonal British flowers.

• Added dried flowers into the mix to extend the growing season and add texture and interest.

Left; Marrying more conscienciously involves using biodegradable items and repurposing as much as possible Above; Sunninghill makes use of local greenery in all seasons Bottom; Local grown flowers are dried and used in venue decoration

• Incorporated a multi-use vision for the venue’s wedding flowers: a chair corsage becomes a fresh flower posy table centre which is taken from the vase at the end of the wedding party and given to key guests to take home. • Said NO to the use of non-biodegradable floral foam, finding alternatives to display our floral arrangements.

• Adopted a living greenery approach to the wedding ceremony décor using a mix of real, living and growing potted trees, shrubs and plants.
