Our story began with a challenge: knowing languages, yet facing communication barriers.

Witnessing firsthand the power and limitations of existing languages, we envisioned a new form of communication – a dynamic, iconic language born from deep linguistic understanding and the visual clarity of modern design, inspired by computer icons. An icon-based communication transcends traditional limits, enabling precise, engaging, and accessible conversations.KOMUNIKON unites a global team of linguists, graphic designers, technologists, and educators to unleash the power of IKON (/i’kon/), a language of icons.IKON transcends existing language barriers, making communication more intuitive, inclusive, and internationally accessible. Its structured system of playful icons bridges cultures and empowers marginalized groups, from children and migrants to illiterates and people with disabilities.
