The Journey Begins: Dua When Leaving Home Before departing, recite this supplication to place your trust in Allah:

Transliteration
اَل َح ْو َل َواَل،هللا ُ هللا َت َو َّك ْل ِ ت َعلَى ِ ِبسْ ِم
ُِقوَّ َة ِإاَّل ِباهلل
Bismillāhi tawakkaltu 'alallāh, lā ḥawla wa lā quwwata illā billāh
The Talbiyah — The Pilgrim's Call Recited continuously from the moment of Iḥrām until the stoning of Jamarat al-'Aqabah (Hajj) or the start of Tawaf (Umrah).
ك َ يك َل َ اَل َش ِر،ك َو ْالم ُْل َك َ َ ِإنَّ ْال َح ْمدَ َوال ِّنعْ َم َة ل،ْك َ ك لَ َّبي َ َك ل َ ك اَل َش ِري َ لَ َّب ْي،ْك َ ْك اللَّ ُه َّم لَ َّبي َ لَ َّبي
Labbayk Allāhumma labbayk, labbayk lā sharīka laka labbayk, inna l-ḥamda wa-n-ni'mata laka wa-l-mulk, lā sharīka lak
"Here I am at Your service, O Allah. Praise, grace, and sovereignty belong to You. You have no partner."
Dua Upon First Sight of the Ka'bah One of the most blessed moments of the pilgrimage — raise your hands and make sincere dua.
Arabic َ اللَّ ُه َّم َأ ْن َف َح ِّي َنا َر َّب َنا ِبال َّساَل ِم،ك ال َّساَل ُم َ ت ال َّساَل ُم َو ِم ْن
Transliteration
Translation
Allāhumma anta s-salāmu wa
"O Allah, You are Peace and from
minka s-salām, fa-ḥayyinā
You comes peace. Greet us, our
rabbanā bi-s-salām
Lord, with peace."
This is also a moment for personal supplication — duas made upon first beholding the Ka'bah are especially answered.
Dua During Tawaf (Circling the Ka'bah) Starting Each Circuit At the Black Stone (Ḥajar al-Aswad), say: هللاُ َأ ْك َبر،ِِب ْس ِم هللا Bismillāh, Allāhu Akbar

Dua at Safa and Marwah (Sa'i) 1
Upon Ascending Safa — Recite Three Times ك َولَ ُه ْال َح ْم ُد َوه َُو َعلَى ُك ِّل َشيْ ٍء َقدِي ٌر ُ لَ ُه ْالم ُْل،ُك لَه َ اَل ِإلَ َه ِإاَّل هللاُ َوحْ دَ هُ اَل َش ِري Lā ilāha illallāhu waḥdahu lā sharīka lah, lahul-mulku wa lahul-ḥamd, wa huwa 'alā kulli shay'in qadīr "There is no god but Allah alone, with no partner. His is the dominion, His is all praise, and He is over all things capable."
