AS 1530.8.1 (BAL 12.5 to BAL 40) simulates real-world exposure, testing how timber decking, sub-floors, and weatherboards respond to radiant heat and embers. AS 1530.3 assesses ignition, flame spread, smoke generation, and heat release.

FLAMEfixx dFx excels in fire resistance, achieving a Spread of Flame Index of 0, Heat Evolved Index of 2, and Smoke Index of 1 (on a scale of 0–10), making it ideal for fire-prone areas.
