EMPLOYEE BENEFITS

At ITGL, we genuinely care about our employees and their well-being. We believe that a happy workforce is a productive one, so we’re continuing to develop benefits to support people’s physical, mental, and social health. From family health to social events and more, we’re committed to making sure that everyone has access to the resources they need to thrive both inside and outside of work.

BENEFITS FROM DAY-1 OF EMPLOYMENT

COMPANY EVENTS

We believe in the importance of creating opportunities for the whole company to get together on a social basis. That’s why we have quarterly all-company events that focus on people and camaraderie. These events include full catering, and Christmas and summer events even include overnight accommodation. Travel expenses can be claimed. Speak to your line manager for more information.

COMPANY LAPTOP

All employees are issued with a company laptop and any other equipment they need to perform their role. If you have any questions, please speak to Tommy Sutton.

MILTON PARK

Our newly refurbished office at Milton Park includes a hot desking system, pods, and meeting rooms to ensure everyone can work comfortably and productively. PORTCHESTER

Our office warehouse in Portchester has also been recently refurbished and is available to all employees. There is a hot desking system in place and an onsite EV charger, which is available to use at cost price. Talk to Phil Butler for more information.

BENEFITS AFTER 3-MONTH PROBATIONARY PERIOD

DIGITAL GP

We understand that it can be challenging to get a GP appointment these days. With our digital GP service, you and your family can find an appointment via the Aviva Digital GP app, often with same or next-day availability. Consultations are conducted by video.

HEALTH INSURANCE

Our highly comprehensive health insurance covers a wide range of mental and physical health issues: from hospital in-patient benefits and specialist care, to optician and dental work. This cover also extends to your immediate family.

LIFE INSURANCE

In the unfortunate event of your passing while employed by ITGL, this benefit will pay out four times your annual salary. You can choose who will receive this benefit and divide it among several people.

BICYCLE PURCHASE SCHEME

HOME WORKING FURNITURE

We want to make sure you have everything you need to work comfortably and safely at home and in the office. In addition to a company laptop, you will receive an ergonomically adjustable chair and a separate desk. If you need special items for back problems or any disability, we can provide them for you.

REFERRAL SCHEME

As a growing company, we’re always looking for excellent people to join our team. If you suggest a new contact who is subsequently hired and successfully completes their probationary period, you’ll receive a one-off payment of £500.

FLEXIBLE WORK AND LEAVE POLICIES

BIRTHDAY HOLIDAY

At ITGL, we want our employees to feel appreciated and celebrated on their special day. That’s why we offer a Birthday Holiday Policy, giving you the opportunity to take your birthday off in addition to your contractual holiday allocation. We understand that business needs come first, but we also believe in flexibility, which is why you can take the day off up to 5 working days either side of your actual birthday. Please note that if the holiday is not taken during this flexible window, it will elapse.

FLEXIBLE WORKING

At ITGL, we value the well-being and work-life balance of our employees. That’s why we offer a Flexible Working Policy that allows you to take up to three hours out during the normal working day and in any given week, over and above your contractual lunch break. We trust our employees to manage their time effectively, so you don’t need to clear this with your line manager in advance. However, we do ask that you make up the time so that contractual hours are worked during any 2-week period. Business needs should take precedence, so it’s good practice to let colleagues know if you plan to be unavailable.

EXTENDED UNPAID LEAVE

At ITGL, we understand that sometimes you may need an extended break from work. That’s why we offer an Extended Unpaid Leave Policy, where you can request an unpaid period of 10 contiguous working days or more. While the directors will support employees taking time off for various reasons, requests must also be considered in the context of business needs. Eligibility for this policy applies to all employees who have successfully completed their probation and who have more than 12 months employment with the company. Extended leave may be taken once in any 2-year period.

HYBRID WORKING

At ITGL, we believe hybrid working can increase work inclusivity and offer a better work-life balance. That’s why we provide our employees with the tools they need to work remotely, and don’t mandate attendance at the office. We also give employees the flexibility to work wherever they choose, not just at home. If you need to work outside of the UK for a single period of up to 2 weeks in any 12-month period, we will consider approval. We do request that employees attend meetings and events in the office or elsewhere where required by their line manager, and also that all employees make efforts to join our quarterly company events.
