“

Serving on the ITEC Board has been one of the most meaningful experiences of my life.

Building Resilience Through Tennis Vision •

ITEC exists to shape a more resilient, inclusive, and hopeful Israeli society — one child at a time — through the transformative power of tennis.

Mission • • • •

ITEC uses tennis, education, and social-impact programs to build physical, emotional, mental, and social resilience in children across Israel. We make tennis and its values accessible to all children, fostering a “Champion for Life” mindset grounded in growth, discipline, and purpose. We empower children from all backgrounds and abilities, including those facing financial hardship, social marginalization, or geographic isolation. We create safe, inclusive, and structured environments where every child can build confidence, develop skills, and experience a true sense of belonging.

Values •

•

•

Resilience is developed through sport as a holistic capacity—physical, mental, emotional, and social—that helps children not only endure challenges but grow through them and build confidence to shape their future. Inclusiveness means ensuring that tennis is open to every child by removing barriers of geography, background, identity, and financial circumstances so that all are welcome onto the court. Opportunity means removing financial and social barriers so every child can access high-quality tennis and education programs that build the skills, confidence, and discipline needed to succeed in life.

Why Join the ITEC Board? Social Impact Help transform the lives of children across Israel through ITEC’s unique blend of tennis, education, and social-impact programing that empowers children with the skills they need to thrive. Support programs that promote emotional, mental, physical, and social resilience and equal opportunity for children from diverse backgrounds, including Jewish, Arab, Druze, Bedouin, Ethiopian, and other underserved communities.

Innovation & Excellence Join an organization that has been a pioneer in using sport as a vehicle for social change for 50 years, continuously evolving to meet the needs of Israel’s children and communities. Be part of a forward-thinking organization that continually adapts to the evolving needs of children in Israel.

Connection & Engagement Build meaningful relationships with fellow philanthropists and advocates who share a commitment to strengthening Israeli society and creating opportunities for the next generation. Become part of a passionate community dedicated to ensuring that every child has the opportunity to reach their full potential, regardless of background or circumstance.

Board Service at ITEC The Israel Tennis & Education Centers Foundation Board of Directors provides essential leadership, strategic guidance, and philanthropic support to advance ITEC's mission. Our board members bring a wide range of professional expertise, perspectives, and life experiences, united by a shared commitment to strengthening Israeli society and creating opportunities for children through tennis, education, and socialimpact programming. Board members serve as ambassadors for ITEC, helping to raise awareness, build relationships, and secure the resources necessary to sustain and expand our impact. Directors are expected to actively participate in board meetings, serve on at least one committee, make ITEC a philanthropic priority through an annual contribution, attend key organizational events when possible, and support fundraising and stewardship initiatives throughout the year. Above all, the most important qualities of an ITEC board member are a passion for our mission, a commitment to helping children and Israeli communities thrive, and a willingness to advocate for the organization within their personal and professional networks.

We look forward to connecting with you!
