One month ago, we started working for our open class. It was about the book “The Twits” by Roald Dahl. First, we divided the roles. It was difficult because we didn’t like the roles so the teacher helped us decide. Then, we wrote the dialogues and Miss Cami printed them for us. After that, we started to practice them, some complained because they were long. The event happened on Wednesday, October 23rd. On that day, Cami divided us in two groups to make the props for the play and finish the Kahoot.

On July 12th, Kinder 4 visited us and we shared the poems that we had practised for the Poetry Competition . They recited their poem which was about monsters and it was called “Monsters”. Then, we recited our poem which was about a boy who liked nature and it was called “On the Bridge”. In order for them to understand the story, we used pictures, gestures, props and our body to explain new words to them.

After retelling the poem, we did some posters. We drew, painted and stuck pictures about important elements in our poems.

Kids were very kind and peaceful. It was a wonderful experience and we enjoyed spending time with them.
