ISSN 1593-4535 RICOSTRUIRE (Реконструировать, Rebuild), founded in the year 1977, is a non-periodical magazine. Its mission is to spread out the "Culture of Rebuilding", concerning: Architecture, Applied Ergonomics, Design, Communication, Green & Smart Town.

RICOSTRUIRE intends the information of theses and works in the field of Architecture, Arts and Design, as a mediation between the technological and spiritualistic tendencies of our age. It expresses the need to give architectural design and Design itself a new value, for a more open dialogue with the social and cultural context, by widening its space of intervention to the world of Communication, in order to express its "duties of criticism". The promotion of the e-magazine requires a new form of dialogue with the reader, starting from the belief that professional training and the production of buildings, objects and landscape architecture, today need the work of a typical architect, builder and designer. indefatigable raiser of "formulae" and impressions, which translate into an architecture and a design made of orders, proportions, harmonies, to communicate the culture of Man and Nature. It is renewed in the moment in which modernism and its utopian ideology have shown Man not having been able to fully exploit the existing technological potential and the arsenal represented by the historical experiences in each place. Finally, we wish to orientate his field of intervention also towards the study, classification, literature of integrated communication systems, to be used in the architectural design of interiors, exteriors and urban furniture and in designing objects and services. In fact, in the analysis of future architectural structures, both public and private, it will be increasingly necessary to take into account and resolve the needs dictated by the growing use of new media (newmedia) and, in particular, technical equipment, installation of new technologies, such as the wired area, the intelligent building, home automation, etc. Ergonomics Applied to Industrial Design will be the basis and the facilitator to win the future challenges. CONTEMPORARY ARCHITECTURE

Contemporary architecture is the architecture of the 21st century No single style is dominant; contemporary architects are working in a dozen different styles, from postmodernism and high-tech architecture to highly conceptual and expressive styles, resembling sculpture on an enormous scale.

CONTEMPORARY ARCHITECTURE The different styles and approaches have in common the use of very advanced technology and modern building materials, such as Tube structure which allows construction of the buildings that are taller, lighter and stronger than those in the 20th century, and the use of new techniques of computer-aided design, which allow buildings to be designed and modeled on computers in three dimensions, and constructed with more precision and speed.

CONTEMPORARY ARCHITECTURE • Contemporary buildings are designed to be noticed and to astonish. Some feature concrete structures wrapped in glass or aluminum screens, very asymmetric facades, and cantilevered sections which hang over the street. Skyscrapers twist, or break into crystal-like facets. Facades are designed to shimmer or change color at different times of day.

2019 THE BERLIN CITY PALACE (GERMAN: BERLINER SCHLOSS OR STADTSCHLOSS) IS A BUILDING IN THE CENTRE OF BERLIN, located on the Museum Island at Schlossplatz. It was destroyed by the East German communist regime in the 1950s.

An architectural competition was held, and in 2008 the jury chose the submission by Italian architect Franco Stella being rebuilt, with completion expected in 2019.

RESILIENCE

RESILIENCE In material science, resilience is the ability of a material to absorb energy when it is deformed elastically, and release that energy upon unloading. Proof resilience is defined as the maximum energy that can be absorbed up to the elastic limit, without creating a permanent distortion. The modulus of resilience is defined as the maximum energy that can be absorbed per unit volume without creating a permanent distortion. It can be calculated by integrating the stress-strain curve from zero to the elastic limit. In uniaxial tension, under the assumptions of linear elasticity, Ricostruire no. 1/2017

RESILIENCE Ur is the modulus of resilience, σy is the yield strength, εy is the yield strain, and E is the Young's modulus. This analysis is not valid for non-linear elastic materials like rubber, for which the approach of area under the curve till elastic limit must be used.

Unit of resilience Resilience (Ur) is measured in a unit of joule per cubic meter (J·m−3) in the SI system, i.e. elastical deformation energy per surface of test specimen (merely for gage-length part).

LE CORBUSIER’S 5 POINTS OF MODERN ARCHITECTURE 1. Pilotis – Replacement of supporting walls by a grid of reinforced concrete columns that bears the structural load is the basis of the new aesthetic.

2. The free designing of the ground plan—the absence of supporting walls—means the house is unrestrained in its internal use.

3. The free design of the façade—separating the exterior of the building from its structural function—sets the façade free from structural constraints.

4. The horizontal window, which cuts the façade along its entire length, lights rooms equally.

5. Roof gardens on a flat roof can serve a domestic purpose while providing essential protection to the concrete roof.
