What's new? LAMDA Courses are now available at Hamilton International School. Ages 5-16 LAMDA sessions will begin in Hamilton International School as an after school activity in September 2023 - Classes will work on Acting, Public Speaking, and Elocution skills. Children and teens will get the chance to build confidence, communication skills and performing arts technique while working towards a stage performance in our fabulous theatre in March 2024 and optional LAMDA (London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art) Examinations in April/May 2024. What happened in Hamilton Secondary - Meet the Homeroom Teacher Recently, The Secondary department hosted a Meet the Homeroom Teacher for the new and current parents. Parents attended orientations led by the homeroom teachers and the Head of Secondary Mrs. Gough. The event gave the parents the opportunity to connect with the homeroom teacher, to connect with the pastoral leader, learn about daily routines and expectations, ask any generic questions, and share any specific information with homeroom teacher about their children that the school should be aware of. ISP Reading Challenge first Author Visit Hamilton kick starts its ISP reading challenge by hosting a Virtual Author Visit for G5 students The author is Purva Grover, a journalist, and author of The Trees Told Me So, It was the year 2020, and She. She is also the founder-editor of The Indian Trumpet, a digital magazine for Indian expats. Virtual Visit theme: Why should you journal and where to start? She spoke of how keeping a journal helps students create order, allows them to de-stress, improves their vocabulary (and hence, writing skills), lay down goals, build memories, deal with fears better, and more.
What happened in Hamilton Hot Chocolate Thursday! Every Thursday, we celebrate our star students in each year group. We recognize them for their outstanding progress and for exhibiting the Hamilton Values. They get to have Hot Chocolate with our Principal Mr. Senior.
ECA & ASA We are excited to share our ECAs and ASAs Booklet, which provides an overview of the activities available from September to December 2023. ECAs (Extra-Curricular Activities) are offered at no cost and run by our dedicated Hamilton staff. On the other hand, ASAs (After-school activities) involve a fee and are organized by external providers. For our Early Years, Primary, and Inclusion students, you will find a sign-up letter coming home with your child today. Secondary students will have the opportunity to enrol in ECAs during their homeroom time.
