This is Jason’s debut on the Indiana State University main stage. He is a sophomore majoring in theater. Jason played Viktor Frankenstein in THE FATHER, THE SON, WITHOUT SPIRIT during ISU’s Student Theater Association’s 2024 Fright Fest.
Emerson Boaz is a sophomore majoring in public relations from Crawfordsville, IN. This is her first production with the Indiana State University Department of Theater. She sends love and thanks to her friends, loved ones, and cast for their support and encouragement!
Paul Bontrager is a sophomore at Indiana State University. Previously he has worked as an Assistant Stage Manager for SENSITIVE GUYS, Properties Head for ACCOMPLICE, and he has acted as Mr. Bennet and Charlotte in PRIDE AND PREJUDICE. He is a Scene Shop Lead in the Department of Theater scene shop.
Carter is a Theater major and Arts Administration minor at Indiana State University. He is from Bloomington, Indiana. Carter works as a Costume Shop Lead at ISU. Previous credits include wardrobe crew for THE SPONGEBOB MUSICAL (Crossroads Repertory Theatre), ACCOMPLICE, and the upcoming show, REEFER MADNESS, both at ISU. This is Carter’s first time assistant designing.
Luke (He/They) is a theater major at Indiana State University. He has worked as the Assistant Technical Director, and has acted in two shows with the Department of Theater.
This will be Sophia’s (she/her) second production with the Indiana State University Department of Theater. She has previously been the sound operator for HAMLET at ISU and appeared as Urleen in FOOTLOOSE (SWIFT Productions), Bonnie in ANYTHING GOES (HHTD), Cha Cha in GREASE (HHTD), and more. Sophia is a junior music liberal arts major from Santa Claus, Indiana.
This will be Koryn’s (she/her) second show at Indiana State University. Previously, she played Danny/Diana in SENSITIVE GUYS, Dora Lumley in PICNIC AT HANGING ROCK and Evil Tina in SHE KILLS MONSTERS. Koryn is a sophomore English literature major and a theater minor.
Jay (he/him/his) is making his Indiana State University Department of Theater debut in AIRNESS. He previously played John Darling in PETER PAN. Jay is a senior communication major with an acting minor from Indianapolis, IN. Jay serves as the secretary for the Indiana State University chapter of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People.
Amanda (she/her) is a senior theater major raised in Terre Haute, Indiana. During the summer of 2023, she assistant stage managed two of Crossroads Repertory’s productions, CINDERELLA and NOISES OFF. Amanda has assistant stage managed four productions. Amanda is looking forward to working on more shows in the future.
Brenton (He/Him) is a sophomore theater and English Literature double major from Owensboro, Kentucky. His previous Indiana State University credits include HAMLET (Claudius) and SENSITIVE GUYS (Wardrobe Head). He is involved in many clubs, including the Student Theatre Assoication where he serves as Vice President.
Gavin is a theater major at Indiana State University. He’s from Indianapolis, Indiana, and is excited to be involved in productions at ISU. Gavin has acted in shows in high school such as THE LITTLE MERMAID, and RADIUM GIRLS.
This will be Aidan’s (He/Him) second production with the Indiana State University Department of Theater. He previously played Karnak in RIDE THE CYCLONE. Aidan is a junior aviation management major from Carmel, Indiana.
Adam (They/Them/Theirs) is a sophomore theater major at Indiana State University. They work in the Department of Theater scene shop, where they have built sets for ACCOMPLICE and the DEVISED THEATER & DANCE SHOW. Professional credits include working the in the scene shop during the 2024 season at Crossroads Repertory Theatre.
Will is a senior theate major at Indiana State University. Previous Department of Theater credits include serving as Stage Manager for HAMLET and RIDE THE CYCLONE, director and co-sound designer for ACCOMPLICE, sound designer for DEVISED THE PODCAST CHRONICLES, and the assistant sound designer for KEN LUDWIG’S BASKERVILLE: A SHERLOCK HOLMES MYSTERY.
Maura (She/Her) is a double major in theater and art history. She is excited to be part of the incredible crew for this production. When she is not working in the Costume Shop, she can usually be found rehearsing for a show. Some other productions she has been part of include HAMLET (Wardrobe Crew) at ISU, ALICE BY HEART (Stage Manager), and THE END IS NEAR (Director) locally. Maura would like to thank her loved ones for their continued support and encouragement!
Cannon is a junior theater major and dance minor at Indiana State University. This will be his fifth mainstage show. Cannon hopes to one day be like his hero, Jason Derulo, and gain the ability to sing his own name in his own songs. Cannon would like to thank his family and friends for pushing him to work hard!
This is Alanna’s (she/her) second production at Indiana State University and her first time on the stage management team. She previously served as the projections operator for RIDE THE CYCLONE. Alanna is also a member of the Student Theatre Association. Alanna is a sophomore theater major from Henryville, Indiana.
Ren (any pronouns) is a sophomore communications major at Indiana State University. They are a member of Student Theatre Association and hail from Bedford, Indiana. Ren served on costume crew for SENSITIVE GUYS, an extra in HIGHSCHOOL MUSICAL, and Frau Schmidt in THE SOUND OF MUSIC.

The Indiana State University Department of Theater provides practical experience and training that equips undergraduate students with a broadbased or a discipline-focused theater education in an inclusive and supportive environment. The Department provides a one-of-a-kind, hands-on learning experience in all aspects of theater. Our students work in performance, design, production, direction, and administration before they graduate; this well-rounded training prepares them for a wide variety of careers in the performance and entertainment industries.
