The Information Sciences and Technology (IST) bachelor’s degree program can equip you with an understanding of core information technologies and how they can be used to better structure organizations, how people influence technology design, and how technology is connected to broader social issues. Emphasizing teamwork and communication, you’ll explore the information environment and analyze the social, ethical, and legal implications of the Information Age. As you master these foundations, you’ll add value to your degree by applying your knowledge to a specific domain that interests you. In your classes, you’ll learn from accomplished faculty with industry experience and graduate with a comprehensive understanding of how people use technology and how it can revolutionize the way we live, work, and interact with the world.
