We use an internal Behaviour Toolkit as a guide to ensure a posive and restorave approach is used

We understand that all children are unique, and staff should use their knowledge of the child and their professional judgement when shaping their decisions around the acons they take.

There are always excepons to challenging behaviour and so, in conjuncon with the Behaviour Toolkit, we have a clear set of Behaviour Guidelines to use, on the rare occasion that inappropriate behaviour escalates further. We engage fully with parents in these conversaons to ensure there is a consistent and coordinated approach.

Play is an essenal part of children’s development; therefore, playmes and lunchmes are rarely taken away as a sancon. However, if students are struggling with their behaviour at these mes, an alternave programme will be devised by their Homeroom Teacher with the support of the Vice Principal of Wellbeing
