Better Silver was founded in 1977 by Romano Bettinardi in Bressanvido, Italy, in the heart of Vicenza’s silver and gold jewelry district.
The company has evolved from a manufacturer of a few kinds of machine-made chains to a vertically integrated, industrial entity that is capable of completing all production phases of a wide range of components, chains and finished jewelry. 90% of the production is destined for export.
While sticking to its core business of basic chains and chains with stones, the company has expanded its product portfolio to include cast components, CNC-machined accessories, and finished jewelry.
Better Silver is dedicated to serving the relevant players in the jewelry and fashion industries, who seek higher value and a wider range of solutions, by investing in technology and innovation and employing creative ingenuity to obtain larger product benefits for its customers.
Better Silver was one of the first silver manufacturers to receive RJC accreditation, as well as the first SA 8000 certification in the industry. Last year, the inaugural Sustainability Report was released, along with the ambitious sustainability targets for Profit, Planet and People.
Chains are unique pieces of jewelry in and of themselves. This awareness guided us in the creation of the 2022 collection.

In this spirit, we developed the Spaces chain, a reinterpretation of the classic rosary, which includes shapes other than spheres; new thicknesses of Paperclip chains, and Curb chains with different designs and diamond cuttings.
