Monster Mash Presents: “Into the Deep Abyss” – Saturday, October

INSTRUMENT-ASSISTED SOFT TISSUE MOBILIZATION

As part of Isleworth’s premium spa and wellness offerings, Lara Parr, PT, DPT, offers 60 or 90-minute sessions of Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM). IASTM uses deluxe Swedish stainless steel tools to achieve the following results:

• Promote proper gliding of connective tissues • Prevent maturation of adhesions • Break down fibrotic collagen • Increase superficial circulation • Increase tissue extensibility • Improve neuromodulation of pain and tone

IASTM is performed by a physical therapist with premium Swedish stainless steel tools of various shapes. Range of motion will be screened before and after, soft tissues will be assessed, IASTM will be performed with adjunct therapies of dynamic cupping, stretching and massage performed as needed.

While the use of stainless steel tools may sound aggressive, the techniques are actually quite gentle and the sensation is typically very relaxing and pleasant.

TURKEY TROT 5K

THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 25 7:00 A.M. CHECK-IN, 7:45 A.M. START

Mark your calendar for the annual Turkey Trot 5K, an annual Thanksgiving fitness tradition. Walk, jog or run with your family, friends and neighbors on a marked, within-the-gates course. Open to all Isleworth Members and their holiday guests, the event features an official start/finish line, a computerized shoe chip that accurately tracks finish time, snack and beverage station and two on-course water stations. Participants will receive a Turkey Trot 5K t-shirt, race bib and medal upon completion.

While parents attend the "All that Jazz" Mix Mingle & Mingle event at Shades, Member kids are invited to their very own roaring party in the Ballroom.

FALL FLING Family Night

WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 27 5:30 - 8:00 P.M.

Join us for a festive, autumn-inspired Family Night. In addition to a menu of Members' Favorites, we will offer pumpkin carving and fall-inspired crafts.

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 23 5:30 & 6:30 P.M. Seating Times

This year, dive into the depths of the unknown at our spookiest event of the year. The Clubhouse and lawn will be transformed into a murky realm full of curious creatures, abandoned wreckage and supernatural spirits.

Ballroom - Prepare to submerge yourself into the mysterious deep blue sea as you dine with some special underwater guests. Champions - We've been shipwrecked! Be on the lookout for buried treasure while you indulge in a feast fit for a pirate. Chase Court - Nemo has been found! Our littlest Members will enjoy crafts inspired by Finding Nemo. Social Terrace - It's a feeding frenzy out here! Enjoy an impressive feast prepared by Chef and his mateys. Lawn - Party like a pirate! A DJ will be spinning tunes as you dance the night away with ye hearties. Shades - You've officially entered the swamplands. Beware of gators, snakes and other swamp monsters while you dine amidst the murky elements.
