Juana

Juana is a food runner and table cleaner at Toasted Mango Cafe in Crescent Plaza. An employee of nine years, she says she puts in hours every day. That’s just an expression, right? Do you really mean every single day? “Yes,” she said, as her manager nodded in confirmation. “Everyone here is so nice and so happy, every day. So I like to be here.” Juana also enjoys her dual role at the cafe. “I like it most when we’re busy. It keeps me active and the time flies,” she said. Juana came to Florida from Toluca, Mexico.
