The LMA Finance Committee has submitted the following budget for board approval at the upcoming meeting on November 4th. The proposed budget has been developed to maintain the annual assessment at $1,305 per unit, which is the same amount as the 2020 assessment. The 2022 operating budget was reduced from 2021 levels based on actual expense t rends a nd a projected operat i ng i ncome su r plus. For background, the budget is developed to match revenues and expenses so that there is no income at the end of the year. The reduction in operating expenses is being offset with increases in several reserve accounts such as Lakes and Drainage. The Roads reserve is being maintained at prior year levels but will be reevaluated for next year upon the completion of the anticipated roads repaving project.
