Six Senses Fiji is primed for March opening
Six Senses Fiji, located on Malolo Island, is set to impress guests with its recent refurbishments and new features. The resort reopens on March 1st, offering a range of activities such as surfing, diving, fishing, and water sports, while nature trails and cultural experiences are available on land. With its crystal clear waters and white sandy beaches, the resort offers 24 spacious pool villas and several residences with direct beach views and access.
Guests can enjoy dining options such as Rara Restaurant and Bar, serving locally sourced ingredients and international specialties, and Tetei Pizzeria, which offers stone oven-baked pizzas made with fresh ingredients from the resort's herb garden. The Tovolea Bar and Restaurant, designed with high-gabled thatched roofing, offers a delicious dinner menu of grilled dishes and fine seafood with views over the pool and the beach.

Two significant awards have been made to Outrigger Fiji Beach Resort and Castaway Island. As a result of ongoing innovative efforts to improve and maintain the environment, The Outrigger Fiji Beach Resort is the first resort in the South Pacific to receive the prestigious Green Seal Certification. The award was made in December by the global non-profit organisation, Green Seal.
Awarded in December, Outrigger Fiji Beach Resort is the first resort in the South Pacific to gain the certification With its long-term commitment to reducing its carbon footprint, the resort has implemented green purchasing policies; addressed energy and water efficiency and the safe storage of hazardous chemicals; and incorporated practices that reduce waste, harmful chemicals, and pollution
Outrigger Fiji Beach Resort has also hired an Environmental Officer. This new role will ensure the resort adheres to environmental legislation and reduces environmental pollution.
Castaway Island, Fiji was the second resort to successfully showcase its commitment to sustainability
The Outrigger Fiji Beach Resort's commitment to reducing its carbon footprint is recognised by the award. The Resort has recently employed an Environmental Officer who will be responsible for policies already implemented and will ensure the Resort adheres to environmental legislation and reduces environmental pollution.
The resort has adopted the goals and objectives of Outrigger’s OZONE initiatives and raises awareness of the island’s fragile environment especially the reef and marine ecosystem through the education of our guests, staff, and local communities.
The resort constantly improves its performance indicators and best practice techniques, giving priority to employing locals and to sourcing local products and services. In addition, the resort ensures all employees receive the education and training necessary for them to carry out their work in an environmentally responsible manner
Castaway Island was the second resort in the South Pacific to be rewarded with certification as recognition of its commitment to sustainability.
