HOW YARDAGE IS CALCULATED
Designer projects are shown with yardage charts and QR codes.
“Order All Fabrics” QR code will order all of the fabrics in the chart to meet the yardage requirements for the number of kits the shop would like; the shop will be given the option to include or exclude Backing and Binding fabrics. If a Backing or Binding fabric is a SKU that has been repeated elsewhere in the chart, a second bolt will be placed on order. Yardages will not be added together. Chart calculations are made with 11 yard and 14 yard bolts to account for varying bolt sizes. Large continuous cuts may require additional bolts.
Minimum order quantity (MOQ) on all patterns is 3 unless otherwise stated.
ORDERING PATTERNS AND TRUNK SHOWS
All patterns and trunk shows will be ordered from and fulfilled by the Designer. The Designer will receive a copy of your Island Batik order confirmation. Please, contact the Designer to complete your pattern purchase or trunk show request.

Not all yardage requirements are exact; ALWAYS check the pattern jacket before cutting kits. Island Batik cannot accept responsibility for yardage requirements that have been revised after the catalog has been printed. All SKUs listed multiple times are calculated multiple times when figuring bolts per 12 kits.

HST leaves fan out from a bed of brilliant blooms in this on-point setting, creating the illusion of borders but built entirely of 10” blocks on point. Perfect for spring or summer or to dream of warmer weather while in the midst of winter. Make the HST quickly and accurately with triangle papers or choose to make them two at a time from squares. Use stitch-and-flip corners to build the bloom blocks without cutting any individual triangles.
“The inspiration for Double Pinwheels came from my love of traditional pinwheels and simple geometric patterns. I wanted to create something playful yet elegant, with soft pinks and greens for a calm, comforting feel. The quilt will go together quickly using the 8-at-a-time Half Square Triangle Method. The pattern is printed in full color with easy to follow instructions and graphics. Daniela Stout, Cozy Quilt Designs
Daniela Stout was the heart and soul behind Cozy Quilt Designs, a true creative force who brought joy and inspiration to quilters everywhere. Her journey began with a spark of innovation when she started designing patterns for a fun program she called Strip Club. Based on 2.5” strips, these patterns took the quilting world by storm, launching a whole new craze and an exciting publishing adventure. Over the years, Daniela shared her talents by publishing more than 200 patterns, numerous books, and her best-selling Strip Tube Ruler™!
For Daniela, quilting wasn’t just a profession - it was a deep passion. She found pure joy in every step of the creative process, from dreaming up new quilt designs to carefully crafting instructions and finally seeing those designs come to life in fabric. To her, there was nothing more rewarding than being part of the vibrant quilting community she loved so much.
In recent years, Daniela bravely battled ovarian cancer. Sadly, in 2024, she lost that fight, leaving behind a legacy of creativity, warmth, and inspiration. She was a bright light in the quilting world, and she will be deeply missed.
But Daniela’s vision lives on. Cozy Quilt Designs continues under the care of her daughter-in-law, Jessica Stout, who is dedicated to honoring Daniela’s incredible work. With over 200 unpublished patterns left behind, Jessica and her creative team will carry forward Daniela’s creative spirit through the Legacy Series - a heartfelt tribute to a remarkable woman, who gave so much to the quilting community.
