House At The Horizon sem

HOUSE AT THE HORIZON Semester 33 Visualization Program: The project is about making an oneiric dwelling in frozen winter land. Inferences was taken from the book, “PoPoetics of Space” Space by Gaston Bachelard. One must go beyond logic in order to experience the images of daydream. The visual spaces of the dwelling are a combination of daydreams, imagination, and memories. memories My Dearest Corner

The further blurred CONCEPTUAL COLLAGES vision at horizon where the depth of ocean blue and the vastness of the sky blue merges, is colourless when I see just next to me. And remains colourless even while I start walking on the endless path to the horizon.

The dwelling is located in the Transantarctic Mountain Range in Antarctica, a region that is mostly covered with ice and by the network of large glaciers. Humongous heights and widespread areas of these mountains are carved out into multiple volumes according to the rituals performed during the day. As written in The Poetics of Space by Gaston Bachelard, “We feel that we are living in a protective centre Tools used for of the house in the valley.” The further blurred vision at the horizon where the depth of ocean blue and the Carving vastness of the sky blue merges, is colourless when I see just next to me. And remains colourless even while I start walking on the endless path to the horizon. These volumes, like crosswords, have wide openings that give a panoramic view of the ocean and mountain range. Small openings at the double-height volume help the sunlight penetrate in the dwelling and lighten up the spaces. The character spends most of the time inside the dwelling, carving out Ice Crusher spaces, and has a campfire at the entrance for food and warmth.

Radio Station(office design) sem

RADIO STATION Semester 55 Working Drawing Program: Designing an office of own intrest materials, logical design with focus on materials decisions and producing working drawings in the sequence of execution. Location- Shreeya Amalga, Thaltej, Ahmedabad

As the wall is not shared, there is an oppurtunity of making perforations(windows) for more sunlight to come in.

Slab is to be demolished to make a double height space. The window in the double heighted space brings in good amount of natural light

Radio Broadcasting is where all the creativity, joy, and fun come together in an explosive mix. The Classics is a Radio Station that engages with the whole process of radio transmission from planning, production, preparation to the broadcasting of radio programs. The office has the best possible circulation throughout the spaces which ensures easy flow of the employees, non-employees, and the radio content production. The office has a combination of both fully-functional and workable spaces.

The staircase is to be relocated in the double heighted space such that it also enhances the overall look of the space.

Lift is to be removed as it is not required for two floor office
