This course focus on application of principals and techniques to epidemiologic thinking and research while incorporating and applying other global health skills.

• Learn to perform a stratified analysis.

Understand effect modification

Timetable: Classes take place Monday-Thursday from 9.00 to 13.30 h

• Learn to detect and control for confounding in data analysis

Language of instruction: Spanish/English

• Discuss different options for studying the human health effects following an environmental exposure • Understand the role of community surveys and registries following an environmental exposure • Identify bias in case-control studies, interpret ORs and understand effect modification
