Steve Calland-Scoble, Director
Steve Calland-Scoble is an international educational leader whose career has taken him across the globe, from the United Kingdom to Ukraine, Austria, Qatar, and most recently, Germany. He holds an MA in International Education from Oxford Brookes University and a PGCE in Education from University College London. Steve's leadership roles include serving as the Director at Dresden International School and leading ACS International Schools in Qatar.
Chris Boyle, Secondary School Principal
Mr. Chris Boyle graduated from Colorado State University in 2003 with a degree in history and a secondary social studies teaching certification. After teaching for eight years in Fort Collins, Colorado and earning a Master of Science in sport administration from the University of Northern Colorado and a MEd in educational leadership from Colorado State he joined Pledge Harbor International School in Bangladesh as whole school vice principal. Chris served as the secondary assistant principal and then secondary principal at Dalian American International School in Dalian, China from 2014-2020. In the fall of 2020 Chris joined International School Dhaka as the secondary principal.
Dr. Michael Palmer, Primary School Principal
Dr. Michael Palmer has an extensive career in both public and private schools across Canada, Ukraine, Zimbabwe, the Republic of Georgia, and Turkey. His experience spans all grade levels, from Kindergarten to Grade 12, where he has served as a primary homeroom teacher, secondary subject teacher, and special needs educator. Michael has over 20 years' International Baccalaureate (IB) educational experience.
Currently, Michael leads the Primary Division at an international IB school in Bangladesh,
Annie Arif, Admissions and Marketing Director
Ms. Annie Arif has been ISD's Director of Admissions and Marketing since August 2022. She brings with her over 15 years' experience in International education marketing and recruitment. Prior to moving to Bangladesh in 2022, Miss Annie worked in the Gulf region and the U.K. She is currently studying an MSC Marketing online around her career.
