All-School Reunion: Show your Cardinal Pride and wear favorite Cardinal attire

THURSDAY, AUGUST 15: Compass, Community Education, Food & Nutrition Services Day

10am-3:30pm Compass, School Age Childcare Program 11am – Tallest Sculpture Lego Contest (ages 5-11), Registration 10:30am; Contest 11:00am 12-1pm – Make and Take Craft 1-3:30pm – 1952’s Popular Play 3:30-5:00pm Food & Nutrition Services – Come see the history of child nutrition programs and recipes from past and present. We will be giving a taste some of the healthy foods found on modern day menus. 5pm-7pm Community Education 5-5:30pm – Sandy Bessingpas, Homemade Lefse 5:30-6pm – Natalie Heckert, E Fit 6-6:30pm – Sharolyn Sievert, Pet First Aid 6:30-7pm – Gwen Schroeder, The Design Station

Discovery Middle School & Alexandria Area High School Day

10-11am Technology/Robotics – 3D Minibot printers & more fun techy stuff 11:30-12:30pm Academic Fun – Come & participate in some fun physical challenges as well as mental challenges 1-2pm Art Showcase – Face Painting & Sidewalk Chalk; “Instrument Petting Zoo – Come & try out some instruments featured in our music programs. Featured instruments will be the violin, cello, flute, clarinet, trumpet & trombone. 2:30-3:30pm Healthy Voices/Healthy Choices – Calling all parents & kids – come spin the big prize wheel and learn about all the positive choices the youth in our community are making! The Healthy Voices Healthy Choices Coalition focuses on encouraging youth to make healthy choices regarding substance use. 4-5:00pm Activities Spotlight – come check out the fall activities (musical, athletics, cheer squad, etc.) Meet the Cardinal mascot & take your chance at winning some Cardinal gear
