Code of conduct

• Don’t overestimate yourself! Plan your tour to suit your tness level and technical ability. That’s how you get the most fun out of it! • Not so fast! Cycle carefully and according to visibility – obstacles can be encountered at any moment. • Pedestrians have priority. Make your presence known at an early stage and only overtake at walking pace! • Be considerate of the nature and wildlife. Stick to the marked paths and only cycle in daylight. • Respect any quiet and protected areas. These are retreats for animals and rare plants. • Respect private property and barriers. Make sure you keep to the designated routes and respect any blocked o paths. This is also for your own safety. Close all gates behind you after passing through. • Take it back! Do not leave any litter on the mountains or along the routes. • Check your equipment! Lights, brakes, tyre pressure, etc. – only cycle if everything is working properly on your bike. • Wear a helmet! Whether cycling uphill or downhill – wearing a helmet is important. Additional protectors should ideally be worn on the trails. • Got everything you need? Every rucksack should contain a repair set, rst aid kit, mobile phone, light and plenty of food and drink.
