Your natural swimming pool seasonal maintenance checklist
Every pool is different. Use this guide as a starting point and adapt the advice to your local climate and the exact needs of your pool. Regular temperature checks and water quality tests will help you get it right.
Spring • Add bacteria to the biological part of the filter system if the water temperature is above 10 °C • Get your pool running again: restart pumps and filtration systems • Switch on UV clarifier • Clean equipment and replace filter media and UV bulbs. • Scoop out debris
• Use a pond vacuum to remove sludge • Thoroughly clean pond walls (approximately every 5 years) • Add new aquatic plants (if needed) • Weed, prune, and re-pot existing pond plants • Check water parameters
