YEE-HAW! TWIN HILLS SPRINGS INTO STEP THIS WEEK A unique Isaac outback experience combining country racing, rodeo, campdraft and gymkhana is set for a four-day extravaganza at Twin Hills this weekend. The Twin Hills complex is just off the Gregory Hwy between Clermont and Charters Towers and is well signposted.
Division 1 Isaac Regional Councillor Greg Austen will present the Leading Trainer following the last race on Saturday, 28 September. Isaac Regional Council is a proud supporter of the Twin Hills event thanks to the Isaac Community Grants Program which funds activities and benefits residents in the Isaac region. Isaac Regional Council Mayor Anne Baker said the Twin Hills event has had a long standing and proud history in the region since 1925.
Thursday lunch onwards: Campdraft
“The Twill Hill committee have been busily working behind the scenes for a few months to coordinate their event from bull riding to campdrafting and horse racing to fashions on the field,” Mayor Baker said.
Saturday: Campdraft then races followed by entertainment
“With four days of racing, rodeo, campdraft and gymkhana on the dusty track and arena, there’s no shortage of entertainment.”
