AWARDS TO RECOGNISE THE INSPIRING WOMEN IN OUR LIVES Inspiring women across the community will have the chance to share their stories of empowerment and personal victory at the Clermont Inspiring Women in Isaac event on Saturday, 7 March. The afternoon starts at 3pm and will include the presentation of the Inspiring Women in Isaac Awards, afternoon tea, lucky door prizes, tea, coffee, entertainment by local female vocalist Hayley Howe, guest speaker and discussion panel. Residents are encouraged to recognise and celebrate the diverse community of strong women at the Inspiring Women in Isaac Clermont event as part of Queensland Women’s Week and International Women’s Day. The 2020 Inspiring Women in Isaac awards will pay tribute to women of all ages who inspire, encourage and make a positive difference to the lives of those around them.

Attendees will be inspired by guest speaker Elisha Parker, named the 2020 NAB Agribusiness Rising Champion. An impressive line-up of inspiring local women will be part of the panelist discussion. Leigh Dyer, Ella Anderson, Andrea Moller, Jody Danson and Courtney Passfield will answer questions about their inspiration, successes and give their advice to young Clermont women. Family and friends can come together for the grandmothers, mothers, sisters, daughters and friends whose daily contributions make our lives and communities brighter. The 2020 Queensland Women’s Week theme – Celebrating our diverse community of strong women – highlights the diversity of women, aiming to empower and inspire Queensland women and girls to embrace and celebrate their unique qualities and experiences.
